The room was spotless, and we enjoyed the terrace overlooking the town square. The bed, sheets, and pillows were comfortable—we slept great. The restaurant is fabulous and offers creative dishes for carnivores and vegans alike. The staff is friendly, responsive, and professional. We liked the combination lock, so we didn't have to worry about a key. Truly a wonderful stay.

The hotel rooms are above the host house and he is available all the time.
The hotel is in an authentic structure, the rooms are clean and spacious, the bedding is pleasant and fragrant, the floor is a marble floor and not a carpet, the corridors are lit and the breakfast is very special with pastries from the family restaurant.
And the service - the best we ever received!
Unfortunately, we experienced a hailstorm that shattered the windows of our car, Reneto, the host, let us there during the whole day stay there with no compensation, as he assisted us with the local bureaucracy very kindly.

First, the hosts, Alessandro and his mother are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean, very nicely designed with a large shower that was very welcome after visiting the area. The garden is quiet and soothing. The breakfast was copious and enriched by homemade cakes and cookies.
We wish to have the opportunity to return and we will advise friends to share our experience.

The facility is completely refurbished. The lobby and the room are cozy. Breakfast is quite varied with several sweet and savory choices. The double room is quite spacious. Towels and the hair dryer are provided, as well as the hand and shower gel.
Just 5.2 mi from the A4 motorway exit, Hotel Ristorante La Grotta is 15 minutes' drive from Desenzano del Garda on the lakeshore. Guests can enjoy the rose garden and property's private parkland.

It's a short walk to the church and castle where the Battle of Solferino was fought and there's a monument to the Red Cross, which was founded here. There was a lovely concert in the church one of the evenings we stayed there. It's a short drive to many local wineries that offer tastings and also close to the Montichiari convention center.

For those who after busy day look for calm evening or waking up without typical big city morning noise, it is perfect place to rest. The hotel has also restaurant and food was delicious there. And you always find a table to sit. Rooms big, modern and confortable. Owner and his team very friendly. Secured parking.. It was only 20 min from Gardaland, very confortable distance.

Great Location abouve Solferino 10km in the Backland of the Lake Garda within endless vineyards. Perfekt Start for your Cycling Tour or a short Trip to the Lake. At or first evening we joined live music just before the B&B sitting in the Restaurant opposite.
