It is a lovely villa with some old-fashioned character. The location is excellent, as you can enjoy both sides of Lake Garda, which we can see from our balcony. The swimming pool is lovely and quiet, and it is nice to have a restaurant for lunch and dinner. Also, parking is on-site, and you can access the lake from the swimming pool or restaurant.

On a narrow peninsula protruding into Lake Garda, Sirmione is a wonderful town famed for its multi-turreted castle, Roman remains and hot springs.
The 13th-century lakeside castle makes quite an impressive sight as you cross its drawbridge to enter the old town beyond. From its walls there are lovely views across red-roofed buildings towards the trees hiding the ruins of a huge villa that belonged to 1st century BC Roman poet Catullus. Part of the complex included baths benefitting from the thermal waters, and the town still has a spa today on the opposite side of the promontory.
Nearby is the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore with its 15th-century frescoes, and the surrounding narrow, cobbled streets are home to stone buildings and several Sirmione hotels on Lake Garda. The majority of hotels are mid-range, but there are still a few 4 and 5-star hotels in Sirmione to choose from.

The old town has wonderful Shops, bars, restaurants and plentiful ice-cream parlors (Gelateria Mirkoz was amazing lots of different flavors and generous portions) everyone was warm and welcoming.

Sirmione is a very beautiful place, really amazing views and a good, safe feel. Not a massive amount of restaurant choice but what their is was good. The big, big issue is its Hyper touristic and has masses of people visiting on a daily basis. We visited the north of the peninsula and it was staggering how many people filled all of its areas...it was rammed. We found solace by going around and through the park as it was (slightly) less busy. Desenzano was way quieter and way more relaxed.

We liked it. It was a nice addition to our Garda trip that also included staying near Limone with day trips to Limone and Riva.
It’s a very handy location close to Verona airport, only a short drive away.

wonderful little town at the bottom of lake garda super quaint with the castle and all the shops must see is definitely jamaica beach with the amazing rock formation and lovely bar and sunbathing facilities
take a boat round around sermione which is great reentering via the castle moat (narrow ) we stayed for 3 nights which was enough lovely walk from the castle to end where jamaica beach is plus you can get boats to all other parts of lake garda from the town square

Such a beautiful place to visit the castle is amazing and all the restaurants and shops are lovely too. Just loved walking through the little streets it amazed me . Had some amazing food and also went on a boat ride to Dezano from there. Visited Jamaica beach and once there knew why it was called this such a vibe and clear blue water.

Sirmione is perfect when day-tourists leave. We enjoyed the empty streets in the morning and late in the evening. During the day it's very busy.
Lovely place to stay with many restaurants and nice sites to visit.
This was the perfect vacation for my family! The Grand Hotel Terme in Sirmione provided us with an unforgettable experience. The luxurious accommodations, impeccable service from the staff, and spectacular views of Lake Garda left us breathless. We were particularly impressed and extremely satisfied with the exceptional service we received at the restaurant and the professionalism of the staff there. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a true oasis of relaxation and elegance.
Location was fantastic, the restaurant was brilliant and the sunset views from our the table was magnificent.
I loved that we could go swimming of the decking into the beautiful clear water of Lake Garda and the area allocated to sun chairs to dry off while sipping a fantastic Aperol Spritz was fabulous.
All the staff were very friendly and our stay in Sirmione was Superb, I highly recommend Hotel Pace, we will be back.

The Villa Cortine palace is simply wonderful, definitely the best place to discover Sirmione and the Garda Lake. The stuff is attentive ,warm and very caring, lovely. The hotel is located in the middle of a wonderful park, perfectly maintained, with lots of discreet places more charming one from another.
