Amazing place to stay in the Dolomites! Cannot say enough about his amazing this hotel is! It’s surrounded by beautiful scenery, has access to many hikes starting right at the hotel or if you don’t want to hike but want to see the views the lifts are about 100 m away. Especially of the beautiful Val Gardena region.. views were spectacular! And I had great views of the mountains from my room. The hotel is just beautifully decorated with flowers everywhere. Great amenities, absolutely loved the sauna.. it was a bit more luxurious that sauna im used to—providing tea and fruits. The view from the pool and terrace area is beautiful!! There was so much selection for breakfast!! They even had a lot of options for vegans and had fresh ginger root and honey for very natural tea options. There was a lot of parking space and you can park there to hike after you check out. The room and bathroom was very spacious. They provided bathrobes which was convenient for using the pool/sauna. I would definitely stay here again!

Half board, breakfast and dinner. Plenty to eat. maybe too much. Nice elevator. Our room was amazingly large with table and chairs, balcony, large WC with huge tub and shower, bidet, but toilet was kind of stuck in a corner. Tap water was delicious and cold. the hotel said it was totally safe to drink and out of the local spring wells. Wifi was fast and good, we even got Netflix to work on the TV. For english speakers only France24 english on cable but that matter little.

Santa Cristina, located in the heart of Val Gardene is a very good starting point for hikes, bike rides or just cruising in the Dolomites. I've been to quite a few places in the Alps, but I woudl say that the Dolomites beats them all.

It is a lovely town in the Dolomites, we choose to stay there as it was close to the area we wanted to ski. Unfortunately, as we went out of season most of the restaurants were closed, so we did not have the chance to try any. But as the town is located between Ortisei and Selva di Val Gardena, which are bigger places and close to Santa Christina, we had dinner there.
Crossing the middle of the town there is an old tunnel in which some historical facts about the town are explained.

Santa Cristina is a very nice town for a skiing holiday. Seems to be a good mix of Italy and Tirol. Good food available everywhere but as well some tiroler apres ski! Town is a great base and good connection into the Dolomiti superski arena. Town has a few supermarkets, some nice restaurants and even a good place to do your daily afternoon Apres-Ski.

Ski buses where not running any more so you had to get to the ski-lifts by car and the parking-lot was paying.
Ski passes are expensive.
The après-ski bar had a great disc-jockey and excellent ambiance.

Amazing landscape, beautiful scenery from wherever you stand! The restaurants offer delicious food but you have to book in advance otherwise you risk not to get a table. It is an elite location, not easily reachable by public transport. Very crowded but manageable. Buses (to ski slopes) don't follow the timetables though. They are always full, you stand mostly the whole way with the heavy ski boots. However all the area is really stunning! I loved every minute! I specially recommend the La Ciamin, Pizzeria Restaurant Bar in Wolkenstein. It is a family restaurant that work quickly, coordinated and offer delicious food!

I liked the hotel, friendly staff, fulfilled all requests. The rooms are cool, the batteries are cold in the morning, but this is the case everywhere in Italy. The water is also not hot enough, it needs to be passed for a long time. We left in a hurry and left the jewelry, called the hotel, told them and asked them to find it, we knew exactly where the two rings were, but the staff did not find anything, although we indicated the exact location. This overshadowed the whole vacation , two wedding rings remained at the hotel.
This property is amazing. It is very well equipped and there is a lot of helpful information to plan your exploration of the Dolomites.
The owner of the hotel is extremely friendly and helped us a lot with planning our stay.

This location is perfect for exploring Seceda (since it is really close to the hike) and Ortisei (it is only 20 minutes drive from the property.
I spent 3 nights here and really enjoyed my stay! The room was very nice, the location was excellent, and the breakfast was outstanding. The staff that I encountered were lovely and very helpful. They provide a bus pass and the stop is right out front, so it was really convenient to just leave my car at the hotel and hop on/off the bus. I have nothing but great things to say!

The house was clean and cosy. Our room was very clean, with a balcony and a nice view of the mountains. The owners were very kind and explained the main indications about the area. The breakfast was good also.

The food at Hotel Dosses was excellent and there was plenty of it! The rooms we had were spacious, comfortable and kept spotlessly clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The bus to and from the ski slopes was essential. (I wouldn't fancy walking back up the hill from Saslong carrying skis and with ski boots on!)
The breakfast was INCREDIBLE!!! They bring a little basket of food each morning at 7:30 with a choice of menu. The milk was the best I ever had, all the nutrition needed for a great day. The staff was so sweet and ready to help. The floors in the hotel are heated and it is such a cozy place to stay after a long day of skiing.
The people who run this small hotel are simply outstanding. Their attention to detail is amazing, the rooms are quiet and comfortable, and the breakfast is one of the best I have ever had at a hotel. They approach what they do with great skill and care, and they are just such nice people. I loved everything about my stay.

Everything was perfect from the moment I arrived, up until the moment I left (and even stored my bag in the hotel for a few hours).
Breakfast was spectacular, coffee was really good. The location was just in the middle of town, close to the bus stop and a supermarket.
Leaving the drive up to the hotel aside (rather challenging), the hotel is a GEM. Amazingly well situated, big rooms all with mountain views, super warm stuff, great food and drinks - all nicely priced, hiking paths on step away from the hotel, lifts one step and a half from the hotel.
This is a very nice and friendly hotel with kind and helpful hosts. Parking is available in the big parking lot for free, the hosts provide a card for entering/exiting. The breakfast is high quality with a wide range of food like cold cuts, croissants, boiled eggs, fruits, etc.
The hotel was lovely. I enjoyed the unique layout of the room and felt it made the most of the space. The hotel felt modern and comfortable. The restaurant was phenomenal. Breakfast was great and dinner was 🤤 soooo good! They had plenty of parking as well.
The hotel is managed by a very nice lady. The room was a bit small but the price is so good and we had access to a terrace to see the beautiful sassolungo mountain. They made the bed everyday for us. Breakfast had a good selection of everything.
The location of the hotel is great, busstop in front of the hotel (50m walk) with busses going to skilifts at either end of St Christina. We loved the breakfast that was provided during our stay, which prepared us well for a nice day of skiing!
