Out in the country a little, it was so quiet and peaceful after many days in city settings. The pool was pristine and very refreshing! The host brought us a delicious peach tart we had for breakfast with the coffee they provided. This is a great stay with views of the surrounding farm. I feel very relaxed to continue our journey.

The family operating Casale di Monica treated us like royalty. The grounds are park-like, peaceful, and immaculate. There has to be well over 100 rose bushes and everything is manicured to near perfection. The included breakfast blew me away. They had a full selection of deserts for breakfast! Thank you so much.

Location to Assisi and the area was perfect for us with dogs. British WWII Cemetery across the road and good walking paths. Plenty of parking.

The location of Hotel Fontebella in Assisi was perfect. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the view of the valley which was really special.
Very beautiful place, rooms extra clean, excellent location (only a few minutes away from the center of Assisi in car), very quiet… and more than everything else, very very nice owners!! You won’t be deceived, you can book right away!
We regret only 1 thing: why did not we plan to stay more days in this place? 1 day was too short ;)

The best part is the family in charge; they're really friendly and helpful - they have excellent recommendations for things to do in the area. Maybe this has an effect on the guests as well? Everyone else staying at the hotel was so nice. Kids were playing in the pool sometimes organized by one of the adults. The breakfast and apperitivo snacks are really good.
