It is located in a busy shopping mall with no cars so good shopping place. The hotel has a great rooftop area with beautiful views but sadly there were no services for food and drinks despite there being a nice looking bar. But when we went down to the ground floor we ordered drinks and the staff very kindly delivered them to the rooftop. It is also located next to a casino and there are many restaurants nearby.
Hotel Villa La Brise offers comfortable and cosy accommodation in a 20th-century villa with no lift, in a residential area 100 metres from Sanremo's sea front.

Outside the center of town - very simple and great staff. We took a taxi to go to town for dinner - the staff ordered it and only cost 13e.

Riva is ancient fishing village yet a hidden gem but easy to get to via public transport. Lots of Italian vibe in the Main Street especially in the bars & restaurants along the seafront. Not many tourists in May, meant it was pretty tranquil and felt much more authentic than neighbouring places. The longest cycle /walking track in Europe is just minutes from the seafront & the centre, plus a very long promenade that goes from Riva Grange to Santo Stefano is great for sauntering. It’s a pescatarian’s heaven, ate really well in many of the local restaurants - La Lanterna, La Scogliera, Dalle Padella all Brace. Leandro, and Osteria Delma Salute. Loved the atmosphere in the Caffe del Corso on football evenings. Very cool. Blissful.
