We felt hospitality from our host as if we were staying at one of our friends place. It really feels like home.
Exceptional breakfast. It is a perfect way to start the day.
Very clean rooms, decent sound isolation between rooms. Very quiet and effective AC in every room.
Pool is very clean. Pool area is good place to chill. It also has great view of the valley below.
As you will see in other reviews excellent service by Fabio. He is there for everything you need or ask.

We liked that Ventimiglia is very close to popular places such as Monaco, Menton, SanRemo. Day trips very easy to do. Some areas of Ventimiglia were dodgy but overall people very friendly, prices reasonable and beaches not overcrowded

Ventimiglia is a little gem of a place. Overshadowed by Nice, Monaco and Menton, but take that extra few kilometres into Italy and you will be well rewarded.
Great food, super beaches and everything is a short walk away.

We stayed in Latte, a taxi ride out of Ventimiglia in an agrotourism hotel. It was nice to be in this quiet spot and although it was a steep climb up to the property the views were glorious.
We had the breakfast provided and otherwise bought food from the very good supermarket in Latte.
The only thing that would have been useful would be to understand a bit more about the public transport options. There were buses but it seemed we would have had to catch 2 and not knowing the area didn't want to chance not making connections so we got a station taxi.
Our main reason for coming was to see the Hanbury gardens, and they were stunning but not for the feint-hearted with lots of steep climbing.

Ventimiglia is a very earthy working class town so not the place to show off, strut your stuff. Ventimiglia keeps it real!
Definitely be there for Friday market on seafront, thousands come from miles around including Nice etc to snap up bargains eg linen dresses, tops etc at much lower prices than posh shops in nearby towns! Trains packed in both directions all day as result.
Eateries just downhill from station, turn left to Bookcaffe etc tried 3 here all excellent!

It appears to be one of those unknown quite and a very beautiful tourist spot. It’s a nice village right at the French border. The train ride to Ventimiglia from Milan Central station is just about 4 hours. I traveled from Ventimiglia to Nice. It’s about an hour’s train ride. On a beautiful sunny day, you get to see some of nature’s most amazing sights during the train ride - make sure you seat on left side when the train travels from Ventimiglia to Nice - this is where you see the beaches, sand, cliffs, expensive yachts. Small towns of Menton and Ventimiglia are surrounded by major cities such as Genoa, Monaco and Nice. These small towns are perfect getaways for a short trip away from the bustling cities.
Best part - Ventimiglia is not expensive. certainly not as much as any of these cities. And is a very comfortable drivable distance from all of these cities. You can stay here and have nice short day trips to surrounding cities.

The old part of Ventimiglia was incredible and definitely worth exploring. Virtually no tourists but the same narrow streets and alleyways as wealthier Menton and Monaco City. I was sorry that the footbridge no longer existed as I wanted to explore the route to the beach. The train to Cuneo was worth the journey if you’re planning to go to Turin. Arrive early to secure a seat next to a window. Breil sur Roya, Fontan Saorge and Vernante all looked like interesting places to spend some exploring.
This location was perfect for me, because it was within a short walk of all of Ventiiglia's many and varied features.
Apart from the charms and great history of the old town, there are spots where you can look up the beautiful Valle Roia to see snow-capped Alps, then turn around to see across Italy, France and Monaco, plus Cap Ferrat, Cap d'Antibes and finally Le Massif d'Esterel on the horizon. Only a few kilometres away you'd pay thousands for that view.
The flat is really nice with a fantastic view over the sea. There are two balconies, one facing the front and the sea. Air-condition, well equipped kitchen and a very nice bed.
The best swimming in Ventimiglia is just on the front door. If you have a car, then there is parking. Walking to the center is a bit far though so, if you do not have a car, maybe rent a bike.
We were very well taken care of by the host Sylvia.
The location was great! Very central, close to the main streets of Ventimiglia and the beach. The staff were awesome, very friendly and helpful! Personally, the breakfast was varied with sweet buns, yogurt, a variety of cereals, cold cuts, cheese and fresh fruit! Very pleasantly surprised there! The room was on the smaller size but very clean. The added bonus of the small balcony and clothesline was much appreciated!
The appartement is located at the center of Ventimiglia right across from the beach board walk. The building looks newly renovated and is very clean. The appartement is spacious, nicely decorated and equipped with everything you need. Weekly market on Fridays is in front of the house. We enjoyed our family vacation by exploring the various towns along the coast: Sanremo, Menton, Èze, Monaco, Nice and Cannes.
A family run hotel… best hotel in Italy we have stayed in
Yes 3 star hotel but 5 star service which is what makes a great stay !
Best breakfast ever , made with love !
All staff so friendly
Stayed 6 nights , home away from home
Met so many interesting travellers over breakfast
We had a back room with a balcony( not street facing ) and our lovely lady gave us a clothes line to hang our washing
Thank you
Nice view from appartment, very warm host Pier!
Pier is enthusiast about exotic plants and equipment with special character - interesting for people who like different cultures around the world. Appartment is for people with love for nature and not for pampered people looking for 5-star hotel services.
Pier prepared us delicious cold herbal tea and breakfast!
We stayed in Casa Consani Ventimiglia to be close to the train station for further travel in Italy. The hotel was a little hard to find and the owner ended up finding us on the street. This is a hotel room, but is fairly spacious and has a refrigerator and microwave. It was very clean. We passed a wonderful street market on the way to the train station.
A wonderful location in the main street of old town Ventimiglia. Not hard to get to and a beautiful, warm reception on arrival. My wife and I loved having a gorgeous breakfast in the dining room with the option of the verandah overlooking the street. The room was perfect and comfortable. Would stay again easily.
Amazing views and spotless clean! Everyone we came across was super nice and friendly, the room has a good size and it's very comfortable for a few nights. Located in Ventimiglia Alta so quite hillly which is something to be mindful of (the lift in the tunnel can be useful coming back from the centre).
We were blown away by this B&B. It really made our trip to Ventimiglia so much more special. The owner has put her heart and soul into creating a perfect stay for her guests. The decor and touch-points were just beautiful. We highly recommend this as a first choice place to stay!
The location and the arrangement of the appartment are one of a kind. A duplex in the old town of Ventimiglia, with two lovely terraces, one on the roof overlooking the bay. Appartment arranged with an artistic eye - and at the same time homely, cosy style.
The hosts are exceptionally personable. Warm, ready with excellent recommendations, eager to know you and guide you to things you are interested in.
This is so different from a hotel or Airbnb experience. Massimo and his family really made an impression!
This apartment is high in the hills above Ventimiglia. This was unexpected and gave wonderful views over the town and out to sea. Lovely areas to sit outside and to eat. The apartment is well equipped and presents at a high standard.
The location of the hotel was very good since it was in the center making walking distance to the market, beach amd supermarket easy. The room was clean, big and had all the necessary things needed for a short stay.
The B&B was beautiful, clean, and very close to the train station. We really enjoyed our time there! The owner was extremely accommodating and helpful. We would recommend this place to anyone visiting Ventimiglia!
Staff was excellent, friendly, premises are clean and well maintained. Quiet location. Town is magnificen, specially the old Ventimiglia. Pool is a good addition when you don't want to go to beaches.
It's a nice hotel but quite far from the railway station.
Ventimiglia is a great city, especially the old town "Ventimiglia Alta" and the view point of Belvedere San Michele.
