Family run hotel. Which is rare these days and a big plus in my eyes. The woman at the front desk was amazing. Very helpful and spoke excellent English.

Prato has a lot of historic buildings, with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants hiding up side streets and in the squares. There’s also a large modern art gallery just outside - worth a visit if you like that kind of art. The railway station is a hub to get to all major cities - we travelled from Rome and then went on to visit Florence, Bologna and Pisa cheaply and easily.

Wonderful and a very ancient town, with many historical buildings to see, unspoiled by the crowds of tourists. It was lively on Saturday with local people walking around shops in the downtown, the prices in the cafes are like for locals. There is a nice view to the river surrounded by the mountains outside the city walls, with a walking path along the river.

Prato is a beautiful town to visit with a range of activities to keep you busy. The restaurants and bars serve authentic, delicious cuisine and have a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. The historical centre is easy and safe to wander around day or night with excellent views of Prato from the parapet of Castello dell’Imperatore. Some of the residents speak english, and are patient with travellers who attempt Italian. Molto bene!

No matter when you arrive and no bus/tkt/etc, be assured that one can walk there easily in about 10 minutes and always on main boulevard/street. It's the main hotel in San Marco piazza (big waterfountain). You can almost see the hotel in the distance from stazione. Lot's of ped/zone activity everywhere. I took the public LAM Blue (1 or 2 euro?) bustop for Flrenze just outside SM piazza. Much easier for me than taking train from Prato SM hotel.

It was an unforgettable place to visit. The hotel provides the opportunity to feel the Italian atmosphere in a private home from the end of the 20th century. The bedroom and the bed itself was big enough and with a small balcony. The breakfast room was a place to rest and to enjoy the Italian culture in every detail of its furniture. The owner was serving us as old relatives of her. The garden with olive trees was wonderful. We'll recommend this place to all friends of us, who going to visit Prato&Florence.
The whole experience of Loft Florentia was wonderful. A good sized studio with excellent facilities, a terrace and spotlessly clean. The location was ideal with the railway station about a 10 minute walk and the historic town of Prato about 20 minutes. Our host, Salvatore, was extremely welcoming and helpful - leaving fresh espresso and breakfast treats every morning. All in all a wonderful 10 days.
We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! It was incredibly comfortable, beautifully furnished, view right to the Prato castle and had everything we could possibly need for our kids. From toys to baby essentials, the attention to detail was truly impressive. Communication with the host was superb. Highly recommend for families!
The room in the shared appartment was spacious, clean and comfortable.
The host Alberto very welcoming, communicative and very reactive over Whatsapp.
The location is strategic, at walking distance from the city center of Prato and the train station (to reach Florence or other surrounding cities)
The location was perfect for access to Florence and Pisa. The access to the pool was great for a hot summer! The hotel was clean and staff very attentive to any queries.
