Clean and quiet, short trip to Mestre Station. We loved Forte Maghere, the restaurants there and surrounding parklands. The staff were helpful and the breakfast cheap and filling. Bar is open 24 hours. Very clean and good shower. Bus outside the door takes you to Venice.

Location was great, close to bus stops (incl Airport bus), tram Station close by to get into Venice and next to pedestrianised area with lots of lovely, good value restaurants. We ate in Garbaldi - really good.
Hotel staff were friendly, really helpful by printing last minute cruise paperwork, then helped to translate it, organised taxis, stored luggage etc.
Reception had a large fridge, full of selection of drinks and water to purchase, which was very handy.
Breakfast was the best selection we'd had during our whole tour of Italy, really nice.
Room and bathroom were modern, comfortable and very clean, with fridge and safety deposit box.
Can't find fault with this hotel and staff.

Located just across the lagoon from the Venetian islands, Mestre is the mainland part of Venice and offers cheaper accommodation, with easy transport links to the historic centre. However, the city has more than just cheap hotels going for it.
Host to several festivals throughout the year, huge Parco San Giuliano offers fantastic views across the lagoon towards the Campanile and dome of St Mark’s Cathedral. Also worth a wander round is Forte Marghera, a former Austrian fortress on an island in the middle of star-shaped canals. One canal continues into the centre of the city and is lined with restaurants and bars.
Pavement cafes can also be found in Piazza Ferretto, a triangular square with a 12th-century clock tower at one end and the Teatro Toniolo at the other. This popular spot for a passegiata also has a modern fountain and several boutiques. Also good for shopping in Mestre is the Le Barche centre, a rather uninspiring building from the outside, but packed full of stores.
As for nightlife, Mestre has a number of clubs, including one at Tessera near to Venice Marco Polo Airport. Don’t fly out of there without having tried the little homemade cakes called ‘mignon’.

We had a 1 night stay over for our flight out of Marco Polo. Easy in and out for an afternoon and evening in Venice. Judas Tree was perfect for our needs. Gabriel went out of his way to make our stay great.

A very pleasant town with good bus connection to Venice and to the airport. The city center square with many bars, a great place for the breakfast, just coffee or relaxing walk. Good shopping.
Dante Alighieri restaurant, an excellent place for diner. Fantastic food and great service. Great people. Very helpful, very friendly.

Mestre is right at the train station, the trains go back until midnight which makes it an ideal location to sleep! Take the bus or train into Venice! Don’t forget the tax for peak days! Venice city fee will tell you on their website which days this is required

Mestre is a small place, there’s no Uber app so you need to go with the public transport all the time. The locals don’t speak English, get a wifi connection at the center where is the train and bus station and search for bus number that will take you close to your hotel.
It’s a nice town as long you get used with the way in and out. You can arrive around 15 mins to Venice from the city center w/ bus number 2.
Very clean. Professional front desk. Cross the street, spend 1,35 euros from a machine at the station and 10 minutes later you are at Venezia S. L. (Santa Lucia) station. Don’t forget to validate your ticket before boarding. Any regional train will bring you back to Mestre. Be aware the train changes track (binario) at short notice.
By car, parking is about 50 mts from the main entrance of the hotel on Via Pavia if driving towards the station. After parking there is a direct access to the loby.

This was an amazing property, our host Gabriel was super. He gave us useful points to explore venice, as we were here for 2 days. He explained us, best ways to get around the city and various tourist attractions. The room was pretty spacious and very clean. The location is 4 mins walk from nearest bus stop, from where you can talk a bus number 3,6 or 66 to got to Venezia (Piazzale Roma). Its only 1.4 km from main railway station of Mestre FS, Venice.
The hotel was clean and cosy, we got everything we needed, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and provided us with all the necessary information about transportation to Venice and with a map of Mestre. They also let us use the toilet and to store our luggage in the hotel for the full day after we already checked out. It was a really nice experience and we definitely recommend it.
The beds were very comfortable and we had enough space for all of our things. Everything was clean and the location was really great. You can get to Venezia Mestre by walk in 6min and the next bus station to Venice City us just 3min away. The connections were really good and definitely worth the little money you pay.
The front desk staff were very friendly and helped me get a ticket for the bus to Venice. There are bus stops all along the road that the Hotel is on, so it was extremely simple to hop on in Mestre and hop off in Venice. The room was nice and the bed was extremely comfortable!

It’s very close to Mestre central train station (5 minutes walking distance). Perfect if you’re going to visit Venice, is 10 minutes by train and trains run very often (every 10 minutes). Near to the hotel is a big food market. The room was clear and warm.
