Nice quiet space close to the Venice Airport or if you want to branch off and see towns just outside the tourist center of Venice. Comfortable bed and nice sized room. Decent breakfast for European standards. Lovely little dog greets you and it's nice to wake to the sound of roosters crowing in the morning.

Lovely place with a fair price, the host is super nice, prepared everything we need to visit in Venice. The room has kitchen area, TV with free Netflix account, and a good floral fragrance.
The location is 5 min away drive to the train station, then two-stop train to Venice, also 10 to 15 mins driving to the airports. Which seems very convenient for us since we are taking a road trip.

We had an early breakfast, around 5am. There was a great choice of food, sweet and savory, although the eggs weren't out yet. I enjoyed the automatic coffee maker, as always, and had several cappuccinos - which were delicious.
Next to the A57 motorway exit, the Novotel is in Mestre, 20 minutes from Venice by bus. It offers an outdoor swimming pool, large car park and children's play areas.

What I liked most was that it was close to the airport "Marco Polo" However trying to get anywhere by taxi is a rip-off. Taxi fare on average is $40 to $50 Euro to go 2miles or more. Its best to travel by bus or train but be sure to know a few words in Italian or you will be lost for sure. What I liked least was that getting to city center was not easy or inexpensive for those with any physical disabilities. However, if your plan is to stay in Marcon and not visit Venice, then it is great because you are close to shopping and restaurants.

Perfect if you wanna visit Venice and don't spend your'e money on expensive local hotels. 20 minutes by train, and Venice is all yours.
the hotel is very nice but commuting to Venice takes some time. Still, this is a good location if you cannot afford or find a suitable place on the island.
The hotel provides free shuttle to and from the airport, which is great. The decor is nice, rooms are clean and well equipped. Nothing to complain about. Good standard.

Very good and beautiful hotel. Room was big and very comfortable. Bathroom was excellent. Staff was very friendly and one of the best I ever came across. 10 min. away from airport and 20 min. away from train station. Close to Aldi and some other restaurants. Easy to get to central city.
Clean and spacious room, very friendly and attentive personal (at the desk, restaurant and airport-shuttle). There is a free shuttle to the next train station. Venezia and airport very easy reachable. Around the hotel there is a large choice of very good restaurant of all kind.
Very clean place, got everything without missing any tiny small thing in apartment. Owners are very friendly and professional, really care for guests and helped us a lot with guidance for Venice. I warmly recommend "Fondo Gioconda" and sure gonna stay there next time.

Very nice and welcome host, we had extremely clean&comfortable room. The location actually is great choice if you want to visit Venice and the surroundings, skipping the headaches looking for parking lots and in crowded Venice.
It’s a nice hotel, fairly close to Marco Polo airport. I was able to shuttle us back to the airport for our return flight.  The AC worked, the room is spacious, the bed is comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. 
The owner showed me that there is a fast regular train service from a station nearby directly to the centre of Venice. That beats going by car or boat by miles. But you don't have to pay Venice prices for accommodation.
