The staff were helpful, since communication is a big problem.. a lot of people in this part dont speak English, The rooms were clean , the bathrooms were good & big in size. The Staff Booked a few activities for us & guided us too.

As we stayed in winter, we didn't expect to find so many...
As we stayed in winter, we didn't expect to find so many restaurants closed in the evening. Fortunately we found one opened 30 minutes away driving. Quiet small town, good to relax or trekking. After we explored the area other cities around were also interesting and some prettier. Dervio is good to stay and relax while visiting other cities around the lake Como.

Many people go to Como town to see the Como lake. But in Dervio you can find much more magnificent view on the lake and the mountains. You can also experience some water activity and enjoy the nature without so many tourists

Very pleasant village on the eastern side of lake Como.
Very pleasant village on the eastern side of lake Como. Nice walk along the lake. Perfect location to explore the neighbourhood. Beautiful Varenna is only 10 minutes drive down the lake.
The ferry from there will take you in 15 minutes to Bellagio and other side of the lake.
Up north, walking distance to gorgeous medieval town Corenno Plinio.

A beautiful small town with great facilities including lakefront play areas for children, supermarkets and restaurants, and boat and train services. The town is surrounded by stunning mountains with great walking trails.
Beautiful apartment in the centre of Dervio, on Lake Como.
The apartment is very clean and has everything you need for your stay. It has been recently refurbished and it keeps tracks of the past use of the building as a ice house (giazzera).
The hosts are absolutely lovely and happy to give suggestions of places to visit nearby.
Strongly recommend, we will definitely be back!
The apartment was exactly like the photos. We were two couples and our stay was very comfortable as there were two rooms that could satisfy all of us. The kitchen was perfect for dining and very spacious. The apartment was clean and kept up to our expectations. Also Dervio was a cute place to stay .
The location is fantastic, only 10 minutes walk to the beautiful lake and surrounded by mountains. Dervio is the most beautiful village and ideal for exploring lake Como area.
The breakfast was really nice with homemade cakes and local produce on offer, delicious and a great start to the day.

Well decorated, comfortable, short walk from the lakeside, well priced and good facilities. The host is very kind and speaks good English, although he did make sure that I practiced my Italian instead.
