A very child-friendly resort with lots of amenities for the grown-ups too! Our room was comfortable and clean, and we loved spending time on the balcony, especially in the evenings. The breakfast and dinner buffets at the resort restaurant were very good with lots of options for every taste (even picky toddlers). Of the additional restaurants, we only tried the pizzeria near the beach, but the pizza was fantastic, as were the views. In fact, there were beautiful views almost everywhere we went! The kids club was the highlight for our 3-year-old, and we spent lots of time swimming at the kids pool, playing at the playground, and doing crafts/activities with Giuseppe and the crew. The kids disco was also a hit, even though it was really late for our little one! I would definitely recommend a stay here if you have kids. (Ages 4 and up can even be babysat by the kids club staff while parents take in the other activities.)

Cefalù is a lovely town which comes alive at night.
Cefalù is a lovely town which comes alive at night. Went to some great restaurants. The restaurants on the right as you walk down to the sea mostly have sea views. Lovely for an aperativo to watch the sun go down.
The beach is nice and is ideal for children as it is shallow for quite a way. The only negative is groups of teens that leave their rubbish on the beach. We only stayed for 2 nights as we were moving on to the aeolian islands. Would have liked to stay longer to explore more.

It was a beautiful and cute little town.
It was a beautiful and cute little town. We stayed 3 nights but probably could have done a week just to get in more city tours/visits to the main beach, see more restaurants and do more shopping...and still have time to relax. We took a cab to our hotel which was away from the town a bit, but we walked into town no problem and had beautiful sea views the whole way. Anymore time may be too long !

Cefalu is a beautiful beach town with amazing beach and views. The old historic part of town is full of great restaurants and local shops.
The vibe of the town is very chilled and I wish we could have stayed longer.
The resturants along the front are good with many options but venture off the track for some great restaurants, especially Triscele.

Everything was great.
Everything was great. You can take long walks in all directions with incredible water views and visit quaint streets and houses.
Hiking up La Rocco is a must for the views but is difficult. Allow time for rest and wear sturdy footwear. I joked it was only fit for goats- then we saw goats.😊
Many restaurants there with good food.
Friendly people throughout this Medieval Beach town.
We enjoyed the beach. It is large and lots of room to walk and was not crowded.
Convenient and economical train transportation in and out of Cefalu so a car is not needed.

Cefalu is a very nice town.
Cefalu is a very nice town. We were visiting during spring time and it was not too crowded, this will probably be different during summer creating a different vibe then. Spending 2 or 3 days in Cefalu was enough for us. The town is situated in a special place, tucked away between the rocky mountain and sea. There are enough restaurants with medium to high quality cooking always for a reasonable price comparison.
We loved this hotel / apartment and we particularly enjoyed hosts Nadia and Mirko. Easy parking and convenient walk to Centro and beach. Spacious renovated room with nice terrace and water views. Sweet common breakfast area with best breakfast you'll enjoy in Italy thanks to Nadia and her espresso and homebaked cakes! Great stay that we extended from one night to three nights we loved it so much. Enjoy the high country while you're there as well. They gave us a great tour routine we will not soon forget. Thanks again guys.
We were transferred from Victoria Place to their sister hotel, Cefalu Sea Palace, which is 200 metres away from it. It is an ocean front property, very clean and contemporary in design. It is relatively quiet which we prefer. Front desk staff let us check in early as we arrived. There are lounge chairs on the beach and staff are very nice to set up the chairs and umbrella for us. We would definitely book this hotel next time visiting Cefalu and stay longer.
We had a room in the 3rd floor. That room was huge with dining table, sofa, TV, bed and very beautiful terrace with sea view. Hotel is faced to a port, not to the city, so it's very calm and quiet. There is a swimming pool, water was very cool but it's expected in October. Near reception there is a small bar, where you can get coffee or drink. Hotel has a small garden too, where you can chill out. Very nice personal take care of you. Totally recommending!
Location easy to find, alternative parking options with different pricings suggested by the reception staff. Central location; beach, old town, restaurants. Building well maintained. Comfortable room; clean and well designed. Available room service on demand. Glutenfree breakfast provided on demand. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, made us feel at home during our challenging long roadtrip across Sicily. Would definitely recommend.
We had a fabulous 2 night stay in Hotel Kalura and wished we could have stayed longer as it was so relaxing. Our room was above the terrace and had a lovely balcony with beautiful views of the bay. We even set our alarm early one day to let us watch the sunrise. We enjoyed walking down to the beach for a swim. The water was much warmer than the pool. We loved the fact that there were lots of different secret areas where we could relax.
Beautifully stylish and relaxing hotel up in the hills with a gorgeous pool and gardens/terraces and fantastic staff. Walkable down into Cefalu (10 mins) and just about walkable back at night (up hill, hard in the heat). But during the day when it's hot you can just summon their TukTuk to come and pick you up. A great service. This is the best hotel we stayed in across our holiday in Sicily. Highly recommended.
The resort was incredible. Super family friendly, full of activities for kids, and the beach was our favorite in all of Sicily.
The restaurants were very good - my favorite was the sushi restaurant which was innovative and super yummy - but make sure to book them in advance because the day we got there there was nothing available other than the buffet (which is what you get if you book all inclusive).
Cefalu is a lovely place to stay.
We stayed at the hotel for one night when we last visited Sicily in 2016.
We could not wait to visit again this year, this time for 3 nights.
The hotel was just as we remembered.
A lovely hotel in a great location close to the beach, restaurants and bars.
We used the hotel's private parking, just a few minutes' walk from the hotel.
Nice breakfast.
My wife and I spent a night at Retrò Rooms. The hotel room was comfortable, the breakfast was great, and the staff are all friendly and professional. The hotel has parking onsite for those with rental car. The location is a quick walk to the old town and Rocco di Cefalu trailhead. The beach is a couple of blocks down the street. Nice spot to stay at.
The staff were so great. Big thank you to Giuseppe for helping us with everything, he was a fantastic host.
Decor and cleanliness of the hotel were top notch. Rooftop patio of breakfast and general views were such a bonus. Location was perfect for Cefalu, and the roof deck patio for our room was the perfect space to enjoy a glass of wine.
1. very large private car park
2. pool and beach
3. recently refurbished / modern interiors
4. extremely helpful and friendly receptionists
5. the best (large selection) breakfast that i experienced in Sicily. They even had fresh cherries !
6. all spotless / clean
Though 4 star - it is better than some 5 star hotels that i have stayed at.
Great location within walking distance of anything and everything to do in Cefalu. Parking was perfect, onsite. Rooms are a bit tight, but tidy and basic. Lobby area is a bit cluttered, but clean. Host is friendly, helpful and very accommodating. One of the best breakfasts we had in Sicily! Great views from the breakfast porch.
Such attentive hosts! Beppe made coming and going from the hotel as easy as can be in a rather challenging locale like the center of historic Cefalù. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the location could not be beat. Generous breakfast included nearby at a café in the Piazza del Duomo.
The location was out of town up the hill but only 7 mins. And the view was worth it. It also had parking which we needed as we had a car. We had a beautiful breakfast around the pool area overlooking the sea. The family run the hotel and were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.
We really enjoyed the bathroom and bedroom setup as a family of four. It was a luxury to have two baths, and everyone have their own bed in its own space. Proximity to everything in town and out was exceptional.
It was all perfect. Very clean and charming boutique hotel. The view is amazing and the staff very kind. We had a great time with our family there. We highly recommend. Cefalu at night is especially charming.
The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. The breakfast was fantastic. We really enjoyed staying at Le Calette. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Cefalù.
Location was great, staff were very nice, swimming pool was great and private beach just in front of the hotel very convenient. Amazing sea view from our room.
Close to the old town, on the beach, big rooms and friendly staff with a great cafe for coffee or apperitivo. Free Parking under the hotel was a real bonus.
