Landed late in Bari and this property was only an 8 minute drive from the airport. Easy to locate. Full of charm and character. Beds comfortable, breakfast good. Good jumping off point to our trip!

The hosts were very welcoming and the property is really clean and comfy and the bonus is that it's located in the middle of fields with olive trees (you'll wake up to the chirping of birds!) even though it's close to the highway (which, in fact, is a positive side of the location).
There are options to eat authentic cuisine throughout the day, but we only had breakfast, which was simple, but satisfying. I have to say that they don't have many vegetarian or vegan options, but bread with jam can do and it's exquisite!
I would stay here again!

The place was in a perfect central location! The room and kitchen area were new and beautifully designed. We especially liked the breakfast vouchers for coffee and danish at local pastry shops. The air conditioning worked perfectly. A quiet place but within walking distance to many things.

Very lovely, cozy, plesent place to book for Bari. Right near the citadel which is a must to visit. The owner was kind enough to take us from the airport for 10 euro. Very clean and comfortable. Totaly recommended.

Traveling from the US. The hosts were fantastic beginning with the shuttle from the airport to the B&B, then introducing us to the area and room accommodations, then the shuttle back to the airport. Great value...great location!
Porta Baresana is located in Bitonto, next to the Baresana Gate and the Angevin Tower. The B&B is 5 mi from the sea and a 24-minute drive from Bari. It features free WiFi throughout.

Not as full of tourists as Lecce and other popular tourist destinations. Pleasant architecture, not quite as rococo as Lecce. More of a local feel. Prices were very reasonable, people were friendly although few could speak English and there were excellent food shops where excellent Mozzarella and Pecorino could be purchased

At a first sight it is nothing more than a city near airport, where you sleep last night before your flight departs. But the you discover charming historic city centre with lively cafés and restaurants around the cathedral and suddenly you wish you could spend more time in Bitonto.

Wonderful historic city, full of life in the streets in the evening. There are many cafes and restaurants right next to old city walls. You feel like in some fairy tale! If you like sushi, go to MATSU sushi restaurant in Via de Ilderis, 7/9, 70032 Bitonto BA, Itálie. Its great!

Bitonto is a wonderful, lively town.
Bitonto is a wonderful, lively town. It is under 30 minutes on train from Bari. The historic center of the town is just gorgeous - however tired we got home after long days of discovering Puglia, we ended up each evening on the main square, and it seemed to me that everyone else in town was there, chatting, strolling, meeting friends. We found beautiful, undiscovered alleys even on our sixth day. You can find good food on each corner in the osterias and pizzerias, but finding a proper supermarket might prove to be more difficult - be prepared take longer walks in order to locate one. And drop your car somewhere outside the town center - discovering Bitonto is a strolling experience.

Interesting & very nice old town.
Interesting & very nice old town. Great evenings almost every day after siesta time :) friendly people. A lot of caffes, reataurants & the communication woth other cities is so easy. Just take train to Barry, 20-30min & you can go whatever you want.
The coffee machine was great.
They provided some welcoming snacks, coffee capsules and milk, which was nice.
Towels shampoo and a hair dryer were also included.
The bed was comfortable for me and I had close access to the center of Bitonto which was especially great at dinnertime.
The place is essential, there is a fridge a microwave a sink and a kettle. No stove.
The prize is good and if you just stay for a couple days and don't need anything luxurious, it's alright.
Situated just a few meters from Bitonto's main city square, and just 10-15 minutes walk from the railway station. Plenty of small restaurants and supermarkets.
Authentic Italian building, wonderful interior design, spacious room and common areas.

A very beautiful and spacious room right at the center of Bitonto, which is a very nice historical town close to Bari and the airport.
The facilities were good, the bed was comfortable and the location is amazing, right at the center but in a quiet street. The check in and out was very easy and comfortable, and the host was kind and available. If you arrive by car there's quit a lot of parking nearby.
I had a wonderful 5 night stay at B&B San Lorenzo, Bitonto. The room was very big, comfortable and clean. The owners are lovely and very kind. I was able to park my rental car in a locked garage every night with the assistance of the owners. The location is great; lovely views of Bitonto countryside from the large terrace, and walking distance to the town center. I highly recommend B&B San Lorenzo.
Very sweet welcoming hosts. We felt home right away. Exceptional view of Bitonto from the terrace. Close to a nice cafe/bar (Gotha) and close to city center. Railway about 1 km. away. The host drove us to the train when we left the city. Very nice experience overall, would recommend to anyone who needs a place to stay in Bitonto, close to airport, semi close to Bari. Perfect, central location, easy to go there from Bari airport by train ca.10 min and 10 min walk from the train station in Bitonto. Hosts and cleaning lady are very helpful and kind. Lots of restaurant nearby. The bed in the bigger room is very comfortable. Mini fridge in the kitchen is perfect for a small groceries.
We chose to stay in Bitonto as an alternative to staying in Bari and we couldn’t have had a better choice! Arco Gentile was very comfortable, with large room and living room, clean bathroom and quite neighborhood. It doesn’t have a parking space, but we had no problem finding parking spots very close to the B&B.

We were pleasantly surprised by such a great service given that the price for the hotel is not high. Room was serviced everyday, towels also were changed daily. Beds were comfortable, secure parking, nice Italian breakfast ( sweet breakfast).
Just 1 km outside of the Bitonto center, this property is beautiful and operated by a very sweet and accommodating family who live on the property. The room was extremely comfortable with a terrace that had a gorgeous view. Garage parking available on request.
