This hotel is an absolute gem - great location, in the centrum of tiny Angera on the Lake Maggiore - wonderful views all day long, especially from rooftop terras of the breakfast restaurant. Just magnificent!
Very clean, comfortable room, great bed and shower.
There is also an award worthy restaurant that serves the most delicious food ever - I warmly recommend it to everyone.
Furthermore, the staff of the hotel as well as the staff of the restaurant is incredible, they do their absolute best to make you feel welcome, comfortable and all-around pampered.
Hotel offers free use of bicycles - convenient and such a lovely experience to leisurely bike around town and the lake.
If you are coming by car - there are plenty of spaces to park in front - some free and some with extra charge.
All in all - superb!

This was our second stay at Casino Canée, and again the hospitality of Fabio and Giovanni was fantastic. The property itself is nicely located at the outskirts of Angera with a beautiful view of the the town with its castle and the lake behind it. The owners really make you feel at home. Next to a good breakfast, they offer two choices of a carefully prepared, home cooked diner that allows you to taste some good Italian cuisine at a reasonable pice. Enjoying a glas of wine and a good conversation with the other guests during sunset makes this stay one to repeat again on a next trip!

Angera is a very pretty little town on Lake Maggiore, northern Italy. It's about 40 minutes from Milan Malpensa airport. It has good restaurants and a great gelateria. The Rocca is well worth visiting and a day on the lake is to be recommended.
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel dei Tigli in Angera! The hotel has a very authentic old time-y feel which we loved (but might not be for everyone), and what made it exceptional was the absolutely lovely staff! They made us feel so welcome and at home. The hotel has free mountain bikes you can take out during the day, we LOVED this perk it really added to our stay. Breakfast was great, a typical Italian/European breakfast with coffee, bread, cheese, yogurts etc.

The house is very well maintained, cozy, and with all amenities. The outside space is generous and inviting. I particularly enjoyed the fireplace, what an atmosphere it provides. Although we didn't meet the hosts, the communication was perfect. We even got a welcome gift on arrival. Internet, TV, and electronics all worked perfectly.
I definitely recommend this spot if you ever visit Angera.

There is a play park for kids just 1 min walk away and not too far to the ferry maybe 10 mins walk?
The hotel staff are super friendly and helped in any way they could. We don't speak Italian but all staff here spoke multiple languages which was very helpful!
Martin and Nadja are very welcoming and friendly. The interior of the house has been recently redone, the bedrooms are spacious, the showers impeccable and the living room quite spacious, which makes the place very pleasant. The location is just perfect, right in front of Lake Maggiore. Thanks again to them for their welcome to Angera! :)
Family founded hotel. They are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended to everybody who likes the country side locations. Very quiet in nature, nice view on the lake and the castle. Proffered to accept the dinner at place Italian specialties you will be satisfied. I will come back again for sure ! :)
Spacious, clean and elegant apartment very close to everything you may need. We're 6 and we all felt comfortable. The hosts Brian and Shelley are so nice, friendly and always willing to help. You get access to a small and lovely garden. Angera is a good relaxed choice for families. Recommended 👍

Staying at Cascina Canée was a highlight of our trip to Italy. The hosts were awesome-- friendly, helpful, and great company. The converted farm house was beautiful and the views of the castle during breakfast was stunning. Order the dinner! Their homemade food is amazing.
Lovely little hotel. Recently renovated. Offers little touches that go beyond expectations. Bedroom slippers, king-size mattress, toiletries. Breakfast room has an extensive view of the lake. Convenient walking distance to Ferry pier and not far from the castle.
Great Hotel located in a quiet town very close to Lago Maggiore. Rooms are quite big and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is great and served at the restaurant just opposite to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and kind in accommodating a late check in.

Very nice house with a flowerful garden in the middle of a very friendly Italien neighborhood. Sofia our host was very helpful and made our stay a great one. The dog had his own garden and we all had a great stay in lovely Angera.
