The bathroom was stinking and made compliant to the staff and they poured some liquid but it was very bad . Towels are pathetic! Cutlery were dirty and even after complaining the replacement were also dirty . No proper staff and inky trainees were attending the complaints and poor fellows no answer for any thing . Bathroom size especially bath area so small that it is impossible to have bath in that .
Was getting hot water in the Tap and it seems they are depending on solar heater . We reached late evening were not getting hot water and till we moved out hot water was not coming . Only lukewarm water we got . It is high time they change the linen and towels completely and employee regular staff for cleaning and housekeeping . Bitter experience and will not recommend this to anybody . Paid rs 7000 plus per day and awful experience!
For this high price they donot even provide any basic soap and shampoo ! Even you as they will give only two sachets ! We bought this for use !

Ramar Padham and Ramar Theertham, Agni Theertham are other holy places one can visit. For sight seeing, travelers can visit Pamban Bridge and Dhanushkodi Beach. Minus point, Except the National high way , the roads in Rameswaram are very bad which lacks proper maintenance and cleanliness. Despite huge income generated by visitors and pilgrims, the Municipality/ Civic Administration are not taking enough care to maintain the place , what with roads full of pot holes and water stagnation.

Beautiful place and temple.
Beautiful place and temple. But, visiting on peak summer for temple visit....I don't recommend unless you have some back up plan. It was unbearable ( hot road burning barefoot was too difficult to bear) to get to place where footwear were kept before entering temple in barefoot.

IAll places at Rameshwaram worth seeing. First we had great dharshan at temple. Visiting dhaneshkodi was amazing and wonderful . I believe there lot of scope for tourism department to develop and create more facilities. It is advisable to eat in standard restaurants and avoid street food. We have taken food item only at Residency Towers and avoid health problems.

We finished our Darshan in 1 hr including 22 kundas bath.
Dhanushkodi Ramsetu Point is also worth to watch.
There are plenty of restaurants. North Indian Food is little costly. South Indian Food is reasonably priced.
The Bridge between main land and Rameswaram Island is very nice.
One day is enough for Rameswaram visit.

It is a wonderful place for 3-4 days stay with family or...
It is a wonderful place for 3-4 days stay with family or friends. We booked our hotel close to the market and main temple to have easy access throughout the day. There are many restaurants with good to average quality food. We avoided famous restaurants (Sarvana Bhawan) to have more authentic food in nearby restaurants. For sightseeing, one can get a two-wheeler(700-800 Rs) or cab/auto (1200-2000) on a daily basis.
We tried to book a train ticket to view the sea from Pamban bridge but right now it is in repair. So it is better to book bus tickets by visiting the Rameswaram bus stand (no prior booking).

The place is not for tourism, but for religious visits. Rameshwaram is extremely crowded, and it is impossible to enjoy the sculptures and grandoise of the main temple. Then you have Danush Kodi, the Rama Setu (bridge not visible) attraction. It is a nice drive, but equally crowded. You need to have a private vehicle. The autos otherwise charge you too much. Could not find a decent place to eat, either. There are many small stall, which are not too bad, if you decide to eat simple idlis etc.

My request to the Rameswaram Aalayam management improve the quality of restaurant and house keeping.
Place was amazing...Perfect if you are looking to visit Rameswaram and Dhanushkodi. It's a government property so location, space, infrastructure etc is fabulous. It is 20 kms from Dhanushkodi and less than 5 kms from Ramanathaswamy and Nambu Nayaki Devi temple. Don't forget to visit Dhanushkodi light house and always check the temple timings before visiting
We booked 5members family suite through booking.com. Room rent is 6000 per day. But hotel tariff is 3500. Booking.com cheated us. 3500k if we book directly. We stayed for 3 days and paid 18000. But if you call the hotel directly and book 10500. It hurt us a lot.
Firstly, rooms are tidy and spacious enough. AC was working. Bed spreads and bathrooms are clean. The location is almost correct and is near to Rameswaram Temple. There are nearby hotels restaurants for having food. Staffs are cooperative.
We were not able to stay in the hotel. Before arriving at the hotel, manager of the hotel called me that room is not available. This created lot of trouble for our family. Now onwards , I will never book in your app

Easy to locate, hotel is on main road. Staff is supportive with all the queries. Rooms are clean and neat as expected. Temples are near.few are walkable and few need transport.
Although food is a plus point for this hotel but in the world of hospitality its the whole experience as such which matters and this place greatly lacks in that.
