They have not provided complementary brake fast for on line booking. Mostly people coming to Rameswaram for temple and reach the hotel early morning. But they told only 12 to 13 check out. We came there at 7am, by online booking, but they told us they will allote the room only at 12 noon. After begging only they have alloted the room. Bad experience for on line booking people.

Beautiful place and temple. But, visiting on peak summer for temple visit....I don't recommend unless you have some back up plan. It was unbearable ( hot road burning barefoot was too difficult to bear) to get to place where footwear were kept before entering temple in barefoot.

IAll places at Rameshwaram worth seeing. First we had great dharshan at temple. Visiting dhaneshkodi was amazing and wonderful . I believe there lot of scope for tourism department to develop and create more facilities. It is advisable to eat in standard restaurants and avoid street food. We have taken food item only at Residency Towers and avoid health problems.

We finished our Darshan in 1 hr including 22 kundas bath.
Dhanushkodi Ramsetu Point is also worth to watch.
There are plenty of restaurants. North Indian Food is little costly. South Indian Food is reasonably priced.
The Bridge between main land and Rameswaram Island is very nice.
One day is enough for Rameswaram visit.

It is a wonderful place for 3-4 days stay with family or friends. We booked our hotel close to the market and main temple to have easy access throughout the day. There are many restaurants with good to average quality food. We avoided famous restaurants (Sarvana Bhawan) to have more authentic food in nearby restaurants. For sightseeing, one can get a two-wheeler(700-800 Rs) or cab/auto (1200-2000) on a daily basis.
We tried to book a train ticket to view the sea from Pamban bridge but right now it is in repair. So it is better to book bus tickets by visiting the Rameswaram bus stand (no prior booking).

The place is not for tourism, but for religious visits. Rameshwaram is extremely crowded, and it is impossible to enjoy the sculptures and grandoise of the main temple. Then you have Danush Kodi, the Rama Setu (bridge not visible) attraction. It is a nice drive, but equally crowded. You need to have a private vehicle. The autos otherwise charge you too much. Could not find a decent place to eat, either. There are many small stall, which are not too bad, if you decide to eat simple idlis etc.

I went for 2 days trip, but cut short to one visit in temple..its more like a government office, the attitude of staffs was horrible, shouting so badly, as if we have gone to their own home. It was like one most awaited trip to rameswaram, but we didn't get the feeling of temple.so i strongly don't recommend this temple to anyone.
No words to Express the service and behavior of the staff. Polite n loyal. Always ready to sort out every small problem. Rooms & the cleanliness of the hotel is extraordinary. Friends, close your eyes and book Hotel Harish at Rameswaram without any doubt in mind. Mr. Loga and Mr. Malarvanam are the great persons in this Hotel. I'm really very happy to stay in this hotel and recommend you all to book this Hotel.
This is the worst hotel.. looks like they are paying people to write reviews.. it is so shabby.. staff started pestering us to make full payment right from a day before our booking..
It is far from the temple and doesn't have anything to eat or drink.. we have to walk 2 kms in shabby streets even to get tea..

The hotel is near the Rameshwar Temple and after bathing from 22 Kund s you can change your cloth in your hotel room which is very near and then you can go for Darshan in temple it is very nice hotel. Hotel staff owner and manager are very helpful in nature with smile face. this is very value added

The hotel is new, very clean.The building is well located on the main street near the Templ. Very comfortable beds. Good WiFi - the internet coud be used even while you were in the nearest cafe, where the fish is amazingly cooked.
Rooms were big and clean. Property was just few steps away from Rameshwaram temple(west gate). Nice staff and service. It has car parking though it looks terrible but hotel staff help to park and remove.
The stay was very pleasant. The ambience reminds homestay. The property is clean. The room is very comfortable. With all the amenities provided, the hotel exceeded our expectations.
