Very helping sraff, especially Veera. He picked me from bus stand and arranged smooth 22 teerth snanam and Temple Atma Linga Shiva darshanam. Location is wonderful. Equidistant from bus stand, main Kovil, Kalam house, kalam memorial, Ramar Padam. Just opposite to Laksmana teeth and panchamukhi Hanuman Temple. 9 km away from Pamban bridge. It is a bit difficult to get food nearby.
Gave few suggestions to Veera manager how to keep future customers happy with least investment or inconvenience to the management.

Rameshwaram is getting to much polluted day by day. Plastics and clothes every where on beach sand. Most of the Devotees has no sense and they forget we came to worship god and loose sinn... Local authorities and temple admin only to collect tickets and entry fees from people and vehicles. The fact is siva and rama in hell thats the actual situation

Rameswaram Temple itself attracts thousands of pilgrims...
Rameswaram Temple itself attracts thousands of pilgrims everyday for its holiness and religious piety. The sea is nearby for holy bath for the religious minded pilgrims. Ramar Padham and Ramar Theertham, Agni Theertham are other holy places one can visit. For sight seeing, travelers can visit Pamban Bridge and Dhanushkodi Beach. Minus point, Except the National high way , the roads in Rameswaram are very bad which lacks proper maintenance and cleanliness. Despite huge income generated by visitors and pilgrims, the Municipality/ Civic Administration are not taking enough care to maintain the place , what with roads full of pot holes and water stagnation.

Beautiful place and temple.
Beautiful place and temple. But, visiting on peak summer for temple visit....I don't recommend unless you have some back up plan. It was unbearable ( hot road burning barefoot was too difficult to bear) to get to place where footwear were kept before entering temple in barefoot.

IAll places at Rameshwaram worth seeing.
IAll places at Rameshwaram worth seeing. First we had great dharshan at temple. Visiting dhaneshkodi was amazing and wonderful . I believe there lot of scope for tourism department to develop and create more facilities. It is advisable to eat in standard restaurants and avoid street food. We have taken food item only at Residency Towers and avoid health problems.
