Well laid out town. Ofcourse with unexpected traffic jams especially around the famed lecorbusier circles. Increasing driving time. Hotels like Ramada zirakpur should be made a primary choice because it’s marginally more expensive but has good ambiance that of a higher star hotel.

The Chandigarh railway station is very badly managed . To begin with , parking is very badly managed . Secondly , With the construction all around , there is hardly any space to sit on PF2 and 3 . It’s too much crowded . At the time of Vande Bharat arrival on PF2 , it was stampede situation which was averted by the understanding of passengers . At the time of Ekta express , the crowd was boarding from PF2 as well as from the tracks . How the hell such thing is allowed in a city like Chandigarh . It was terrible and Chandigarh management should be ashamed of what they are doing .

Chandigarh is the strangest Indian city I have ever seen.
Chandigarh is the strangest Indian city I have ever seen. It does not look like Indian at all. The city is pretty clean, with wide streets, proper sidewalks, and bike lanes, but it gives a rather weird impression because it was planned by French Cubist architects and all made of break or concrete boxes. The streets have no names but numbers. Actually, Chandigarh is absolutely boring even though some of its landmarks are considered Unesco sites. The city looks wealthy and there are many good restaurants, some of them are very expensive but I have no desire to revisit it.

It’s not even worth visiting the hotel. The staff is uneducated. They don’t know how to take order, serve food. The valet service is very poor. The people at the valet they keep banging clients cars. The linen at the hotel is all stained and not washed properly. The food what you order, they serve something else and moreover rather excepting their fault they argue with you & threat, that you can complaint to whom so ever. It surely not the value for money. Not worth visiting & staying.
The Sever hotel is in an excellent position, we found a clean and fresh room, with everything we needed. Very friendly, helpful staff helped us through recommendations to have honest and very peaceful experience in Chandigarh city. They assisted us until the last moment by booking us a taxi and carrying our suitcases inside. We had a great experience, we felt welcomed.
Hyatt Regency Chandigarh is a great hotel to stay, it enjoys a great location and Elante Mall within the same premises is something which I liked a lot. The staff have a great attitude everyone just everyone is service oriented soft spoken and a professional. The rooms are spacious clean super comfy. Overall I liked staying with Hyatt Chandigarh.
It's a very good budget hotel located centrally at sector 17,the location is very good and rooms are also good,there was a common balcony which was accessible from room which was nice,the surrounding of the hotel is also very good, expensive restaurants and shops around.
Hotel had a good location with being near to Sector 17 markets, rose garden etc. Adding to this the breakfast area was very adequate and the service was very good. Made use of the laundry service and the pricing was very good for getting our clothes cleaned and ironed.
I recently had the opportunity to stay at Treebo Trend Chandigarh Grand, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The hotel is located in a prime area of Chandigarh, making it easily accessible and convenient for both business and leisure travelers.
Rooms are clean. Staff is very polite. The location is good. Hotel Wi-Fi is good. Was quite surprised to see the board
"GUNS NOT ALLOWED" at the entrance!!!!!!!! Later I was told that it is a standard notice put-up by most hotels in Chandigarh :) :) :)
The hotel is located at a prime location in sector 17 which is the heart of Chandigarh. Most of the tourist places are equidistant from here.
The hotel has a great restaurant on the top floor which has live music so entertainment right at your doorstep!!
The staff were all very friendly and helpful and no request for assistance was a problem for them. The hotel is well situated, being close to shopping, transport, and the tourist sites. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel itself was very nice. The room was very large with lots of space. Restaurant - breakfast buffet had lots of choice and the staff were very accomodating, there was also a good gym.
We liked their breakfast - everything tasted SO good! We also thought the hotel was very lively with weddings/functions but the staff were well equipped to serve us.
There's nothing to like about this hotel apart from the price, but you wouldn't want to save money at the cost of bad staff behaviour, really bad rooms and service.
