We were only staying 1 night, we had a wedding to go to nearby so our visit to Brookvale was brief. However that did not prevent our hostess from being very welcoming. Pauline's lemon and raspberry cake was 👌
The bedroom was very comfortable, tea and coffee making facilities were excellent, the bathroom was very well equipped with everything one could possibly need, and may have forgotten!!! Even though we weren't having breakfast Pauline gave us orange juice and delicious banana bread.

The lodge was easy to find, the beds were really comfortable. The place was calm, we had a great night. It's hard to find a pet-friendly place, this one ticked all the boxes. The host also went out of his way to help us out when needed.

Very friendly staff. well maintained and clean throughout.
I stayed one night if this beautiful house. The lady of the house was very friendly and welcomed me in. The room was big and bright and overlooked her lovely garden. Breakfast was excellent and plenty of it. I asked for porridge and was served a creamy bowl of great hot porridge. There was also local honey on the table. 10 out of 10 for this lovely spotless house.
