Majestic Hotel, hotel in Tramore

The Majestic Hotel is just a 1-minute walk from the 5 km stretch of golden sands of Tramore Beach and 12 km from Waterford. It boasts a restaurant overlooking Tramore Bay and free WiFi access.

The location was perfect, near all the amusements, shops etc- we had a sea view room which was lovely. We had not paid for this so this was a free upgrade. They let us check out a bit later which also was really helpful for us. They don't have a pool but there is Splashworld right opposite the hotel and they have discount rates there - in actual fact we were given a free family pass.

We were there on the last weekend of the summer season before the amusement park was scheduled to shut down so there were still lots of people and activities available. Plenty of restaurants and pubs. The beach is spacious but rocky and there are lots of rails to hike as well as just walking on the paths around town. Only 15-20 minutes to Waterford and the attractions there. A nice quiet place to stay with easy access to things to do.

Tramore is a beautiful town with something in it for people of all ages and tastes, scenic drives and walkways and also the little funfair and indoor swimming pool. There are a great selection of eateries and bars also to whet one's appetite. The beach is lovely, lots of space, it rarely feels crowded. I look forward to visiting Tramore again soon.

Originally from waterford & not been to tramore in a few years. Council could do with raking the beach as now full of stones/rocks. Need flip flops to walk beach to get to water & this was never the case years ago. Japanese garden is a must see. Plenty of bars cafes to eat & price friendly

Tramore is beautiful, regardless of the weather.

Tramore is beautiful, regardless of the weather. If you are the sort of person who wants the beauty of what our amazing country has to offer then Tramore gives that. Waterford City is easily accessible by a short drive and I highly recommend the Waterford Crystal tour. the Majestic Hotel was where we stayed and the place is gorgeous. The food was lovely and the staff were so helpful and friendly - there is also an Aldi near it for any forgotten essentials you may need. 10/10 all round for us

Our cosy accommodation was located just 10 mins walk from the beautiful Tramore Beach. Really loved that we had a balcony, where we sat out til late on a lovely balmy March evening, watching the stars & surrounding lights of the town. It was so peaceful in the evening & had a lovely calm feel about the place. Martin & Maria were the perfect hosts, with lots of interesting & friendly chat ... & breakfast was plentiful, varied & delicious! Would love a return visit in the future & would definitely recommend! 😇

This place is an absolute gem, beautiful room, spectacular views, quiet and spotlessly clean. The location is great, 15 minute downhill walk into tramore. Breakfast is fresh and delicious with the most choice I've ever seen in bed and breakfast accomodation. But the owners are what make it so welcoming, very friendly, hospitable and nothing is too much trouble. Thanks Tom and Anne for a wonderful stay in your beautiful house and hope to see you again soon

Frank and Majella are lovely and are always available for any need. Frank is even available to give you a quick ride to the town center in case it rains etc. We really enjoyed a conversation about Italy and trips to other countries, if you check the pictures of this property you will see the interiors have a distinctive Italian decor style, individual rooms with thematic colors etc. Amazing and very romantic.

A warm welcoming hotel but let down by cooking standards. An unimaginative menu and a failure to provide chutney with the chicken madras because of the weekend.! Tramore bay a pleasant surprise.
