From the moment we arrived, our stay was awesome. The room was spacious, the facilities great, and the bed extremely comfortable. What really stood out for us was the staff. Brian and Lucas at reception were amazing, and their attitude just started our stay on the highest of levels. Any questions we had were answered professionally and in such a friendly manner, it was a real pleasure. All the staff we engaged with were very friendly and it helps massively with a stay. Kettle's Country House Hotel is situated outside the town of Swords, just 10 km away from Dublin Airport and 22 km away from Dublin City Centre. Free parking is available.
Staff were very good on arrival as we arrived ver late. Room was clean , en-suite was tiny. Not even a plastic cup to get a water . We travelled with my parents who are in their 80s. My dad asked for a cup of tea in the morning but was refused. We knew there wasn’t a cook to do breakfast but surely a cuppa for a man in his 80s wasn’t too much to ask . My dad would have paid for it. Hotel is in an excellent location but unfortunately we will not stay here again.
It was one of my best vacations and I was glad to meet all the people working in the hotel with whom I had an unforgettable time and the locals in the pub downstairs. It's a quiet place near the center of the city and very near the airport, clean and cozy. At the first opportunity I will go again either alone or with friends!!!
