From the moment we arrived, our stay was awesome. The room was spacious, the facilities great, and the bed extremely comfortable. What really stood out for us was the staff. Brian and Lucas at reception were amazing, and their attitude just started our stay on the highest of levels. Any questions we had were answered professionally and in such a friendly manner, it was a real pleasure. All the staff we engaged with were very friendly and it helps massively with a stay. Thanks to all.

This is a near or brand new home in a very quiet suburban outside of Swords but we don’t mind because we had a rental car
It has everything that we need for a holiday in Dublin
The owner was very nice to store our luggages before we went to Belfast thank you Cristina

Not for the faint of heart. This property ranks at the top of the scale. Immaculate and beautifully appointed in every way. We had the deluxe king room. There is a shared kitchen with private fridges for each guest room loaded with enough food and snacks for a great breakfast. Gillian and Paschal are super hosts.

Where I stayed at in Swords was right across from the Swords pavilion, which was a very large mall that had different restaurants so it met my needs perfectly. I did not walk or ride around Swords. I basically spent more time in Dublin City. But what I did see of Swords, I would definitely recommend that it’s like a nice little cozy town.

It was busier and bigger than I expected but offered all needed. The Swords Express Bus service works really well. You need exact coins as no change nor card facilities are offered on the bus. Swords is the perfect destination for exploring the area; being close to the airport and for frequent trips into Dublin. It also gives easy access to the Motorway if you wish to explore a further afield.

We chose the Old Borough Hotel because it was easy distance to the airport. We have been to Wetherspoons on many occasions so know what to expect meals/drinks wise etc. Was super impressed with the hotel accommodation.

if like me you need this for a layover at Dublin Airport, don't choose this one. It's not on a bus route or walkable so you have to take a cab, which added $20 to my stay. The curtains didn't close all the way and I happened to be on the first floor looking directly at peoples cars. One of only two USB ports didn't work but thankfully one did so I could set an alarm and make it to the airport on time.

I was extremely excited to go to this hotel from the pictures that I viewed and was deeply disappointed when we arrived. Our room looked nothing like any of the photographs. I would never have stayed there if I saw the quality of the room. I will not be back.
Mary and Jimmy’s beautiful property was perfect for our stop in Dublin to watch the 6 nations international between Ireland v Wales. Superb family room, beautiful breakfast and the best hospitality from the owners. They couldn’t do enough for us. We have a 17 year old son with disability and Mary dropped us to either bus or train station every morning to book our daily travels and showed us around Swords and Malahide. Wonderful couple provided 1st class hospitality.
Probably like most people, I booked the Premier Inn as I was arriving in late off a flight and didn't want to travel down to Cork. In general, I don't have much expectations for airport hotels as they are just places to lie down for a few hours. Premier Inn was fine. It's less than 10 minutes drive from Dublin Airport. The room was very spacious and clean with blackout curtains too. The lady who checked me in at 1am was also very friendly and helpful.
Lovely rural location with nicely landscaped grounds but convenient for Dublin Airport and the nearby town of Swords for further amenities.Lively bar which is a popular dining place for local people, always a good sign.We didn’t eat there but the food looked good.We stayed the night before a flight from Dublin Airport and it was much better than the “chain” airport hotels which tend to be soulless. The room was comfortable and well appointed.
Right in the city center of Swords, which offers restaurants, shops and nice places to eat breakfast. From Swords, you can take a bus that takes you in Dublin in approx. 45 minutes. Airport 15 min away by car. The rooms are on the second floor of a nice pub, as it is the case in many hotels in Ireland.
