Very well equipped and stocked. Really comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Six minutes drive to clonabreny house depending on which Google map comes up on the phone. Haha First day it brought me on the long way round. Lesson learned for day two.

Stunning grounds, overlooking the golf course and lake. Has a Wood walk by the lake. It truly is gorgeous. The staff are nice and the food was delicious. Loved the little starter plate at breakfast, nice touch. Great value also.

We had a wonderful stay here in the centre of Kells- lovely clean spacious room with very friendly staff. Parking also available at the back of the hotel. Very good value for money with a great breakfast. Would highly recommend and intend to return again one day! Also a wonderful pub attached to the side which is part of the hotel, once again very helpful and friendly staff with great food!

We were just staying to visit my husband’s family who live nearby. Not much happening in Oldcastle at the time of year we were visiting, but the weather was good and we had a lovely walk up to Lough Crew which is just a few minutes away by car and the view from up there is spectacular on a fine day.
We started our trip in Ireland in Oldcastle and the only thing we regret is we didn't stay longer. The entire staff here was so nice. Frankly, everyone in the entire town was extremely nice and friendly. The room we had was a great size and was super comfortable. Because of Covid restrictions we visited on a day/night when the bar was not open but it it looks like a place I could have several pints at and just enjoy the conversation with all the lovely people.
The beautiful town of Oldcastle is a lovely serene place with rich heritage and very friendly resident. Fincourt (BnB) 🏨 is strategically located at the very centre of the town Easily accessible and affordable prices also.
The staff team were absolutely brilliant and friendly. They made our stay so natural and the breakfast was a top-notch.
We totally enjoyed our visit and will definitely visit again for a longer stay.

The house was located within walking distance of Oldcastle. We had a fantastic night, taken care of by the amazing locals in the pub.
The accomodation met our needs clean and had everyone we needed for a very brief one night stay.
It was really homely, relaxing, warm and private. Beautiful views of Loughcrew, sunrises and landscape.
I was cycling and it was very close to Oldcastle for shopping, but far enough out to enjoy country cycling.
