There's is no food at the location, it's just bed. The room could do with having more water. Checking in was problematic and it was really difficult to find a phone number for the house. The room was excellent and very functional.

The place is small but cozy. The rooms and the bathrooms were very clean and nice. Easy to navigate as well. It's right in the town so there are a lot of dining options. There's many to dos as well. It was my partner's birthday and on request they did add the balloons as well.
I'll recommend the place if the hot tub is working.

The breakfast was good except it had been microwaved, so the bacon was like a rock, the eggs were hard and clearly reheated. The hash brown was soggy from reheating. The sausages and fruit were good. I requested lactose free milk ahead of arrival and it was not available.
The worst part was my evening meal, I paid a supplement to have the striploin steak and I couldn't barely cut it with a steak knife, the parsnips were inedible as they were like rocks. I like my veg al dente though these were raw and could literally break a tooth.. I sent it back and it was taken off my bill though the dinning experienced was ruined and disappointing.
The spa massage and facial were really lovely as was my treatment provider. The dry floatation consisted of being lowered into a hot bath while wrapped in a plastic waterproof blanket, it was a waste of time and my back was sore afterwards, as there is no back support when lying there as if on a plastic hammock!! Seriously, a complete waste of time. There were no refreshments apart from water in the chill out area in the spa when fruit and juice is customary in all spa's attended previously.
The hotel is lovely, a little tired, the staff were very nice, the food is mediocre at best and the spa needs some fine tuning. There is no smoking facility so guest are met with giant ashtrays at the door with a host of smokers and they were forced to stand outside the front door in the rain. I would not recommend this hotel for the money. Our bill with all deals was 600 euro (vat only mentioned and added at checkout) for 2 people sharing a twin room for 1 night b & b, with a dreadful meal and reheated breakfast. A new chef/kitchen staff would be a game changer. The room charge for 2 breakfast trays is 10 euro per tray!! We were given a late checkout which was appreciated. Thanks,
