Everything.. The hotel was very easy to find. The staff were so welcoming. It was my sons 1st time in a hotel and he loved every minute. The swimming pool was very well maintained, the room was fantastic. We ate dinner in the Brasserie and it was beautiful. Very accommodating when we asked to be seated where we could watch Champions League.

We were welcomed by Dennis who greeted us warmly, offered us tea/coffee and suggested places to visit and recommended local pubs and restaurants. Our room was spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. At breakfast we met Susan who was a great host, chatted to us and we really enjoyed her porridge with granola and dried fruits, homemade scones and delicious honemade brown bread. We were made to feel special and very much at home by our delightful hosts and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Fota Island resort never fails to deliver on relaxation and is a wonderful place for a getaway break. We've been back to this hotel on many occasions, and it will continue to be our 'go to' place. It has so much to offer from golf to spa retreats to an excellent location as a base for sightseeing trips. The staff have always been so kind and welcoming which adds to the air of quiet elegance which we associate with Fota! The hotel and facilities are well maintained, and rooms are fresh and comfortable (never worn or dated!).

Highlight for my granddaughter was the swimming pool.

Highlight for my granddaughter was the swimming pool. She wasn't allowed into the pool at the time we had booked. The booking was made at check-in where the receptionist was aware that my granddaughter was 13 years old. We returned from Cobh early to avail of our swimming appointment and were then turned away. The receptionist at the Spa was quite rude and when I asked him what was available in the Spa told me to look it up myself online..
