Seacoast Lodge - Room Only, hotel in Fanore

Seacoast Lodge - Room Only is situated in the village of Fanore on the R477 coast road which runs along the Wild Atlantic Way.

Beautiful house, well furnished, wooden floor and furniture. The location is amazing, next to the Atlantic ocean. We arrived late, but the next door restaurant/pub was still open. Also there all people were friendly. The breakfast was also fine.

We got a warm welcome and lovely fresh fish in O'Donoghue's Pub despite arriving as the restaurant was closing. One of the things I like about Fanore is that it's both on the beaten track and off the beaten track at the same time! It retains its local character despite being on the busy Wild Atlantic Way.

If you are ever considering visiting Irish county Clare, stay at the Seacost lodge in Fanore. First of all, Fanore is the most beautiful place with miles and miles of uninterrupted ocean views. It is so peaceful and just authentic. Second, it is ideally located to reach the Burren park, hike cliffs of Moher, catch a ferry to Aran islands or go for a night out in Galway. Most importantly, Allan and his father are the best hosts one can wish for, give great advice about any trip one can imagine and are just lovely people to meet.

Great accommodation in the wonderfully secluded and romantic Fanore in Clare. PJ is a lovely host, has great advice on things to do in the beautiful area and prepares fresh Irish breakfasts for his guests each morning. Continental breakfast is also available. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, nothing is missing. There is also a traditional Irish pub right next to the property which serves delicious food. The perfect place to stay on a road trip through Ireland!

Fabulous location, very large and spotless rooms with a magnificent view of the ocean, very close to lots of places of interest (Cliffs of Moher, Fanore beach, the Burren, to mention just a few). Our host, PJ, is the kindest man ever, so friendly and warm and welcoming and gave us lots of good suggestions for the area. A trip to the nearby blue pub is something not to miss!

Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. The host PJ was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We will most certainly be coming back. The B&B has the most incredible sea view, amazing homemade breakfast and comfortable/spacious rooms. It is conveniently located close to Doolin pier, cliffs of mother and Fanore beach. There is also a great pub next door to the B&B.

location splendid to get away from busy work life and the views of the Burren and near the Fanore beach and west coast was splendid. Our Host went the extra mile to make us comfortable and little touches e.g. orange Juice and fresh milk to get us going was splendid. Best recharge battery energy break in a long time. Very special place surrounded by hills and 5 minutes from the beach in Fanore. It was cozy, clean and had everything that we needed. Very quiet, perfect for a getaway in the Burren. The fire was on for our arrival, such a nice gesture. This was my second stay there, and I hope to be back. Thanks so much!
