Fantastic breakfast, lovely staff, lovely shop and bar and a great location. Our bed was very comfortable and the instructions for the shower were most appreciated! Lynn also sorted out taxis for us and recommended a wonderful local bar/restaurant with delightful food and atmosphere less than a 5 min walk away. We were able to park our car very easily and left it there for 2 days free of charge.

We got a warm welcome and lovely fresh fish in O'Donoghue's Pub despite arriving as the restaurant was closing. One of the things I like about Fanore is that it's both on the beaten track and off the beaten track at the same time! It retains its local character despite being on the busy Wild Atlantic Way.

If you are ever considering visiting Irish county Clare, stay at the Seacost lodge in Fanore. First of all, Fanore is the most beautiful place with miles and miles of uninterrupted ocean views. It is so peaceful and just authentic. Second, it is ideally located to reach the Burren park, hike cliffs of Moher, catch a ferry to Aran islands or go for a night out in Galway. Most importantly, Allan and his father are the best hosts one can wish for, give great advice about any trip one can imagine and are just lovely people to meet.

Great accommodation in the wonderfully secluded and romantic Fanore in Clare. PJ is a lovely host, has great advice on things to do in the beautiful area and prepares fresh Irish breakfasts for his guests each morning. Continental breakfast is also available. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, nothing is missing. There is also a traditional Irish pub right next to the property which serves delicious food. The perfect place to stay on a road trip through Ireland!

While not in the village, the house is a stones throw from Fanore village. The view from the house is spectacular and well worth experiencing. The house was spotlessly clean and spacious. Sheila is a gracious host and full of information and history about the local area, without being intrusive. It’s an excellent location to explore Clare during the day and then retire to peace and tranquility in the evening.

Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. The host PJ was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We will most certainly be coming back. The B&B has the most incredible sea view, amazing homemade breakfast and comfortable/spacious rooms. It is conveniently located close to Doolin pier, cliffs of mother and Fanore beach. There is also a great pub next door to the B&B.

great Location in Fanore , especially for walkers, right next to the pub and opposite a small shop; the host & his son are incredibely friendly& helpful - even gave us a lift up to the BurrenWay Trailhead so that we did not need to walk there on a boring road! Tea&Toast in the morning is actually great breakfast ( not cooked!) w/ cereal, …fantastic seaview from the bed!!!

Very special place surrounded by hills and 5 minutes from the beach in Fanore. It was cozy, clean and had everything that we needed. Very quiet, perfect for a getaway in the Burren. The fire was on for our arrival, such a nice gesture. This was my second stay there, and I hope to be back. Thanks so much!
