This place might just become our all-time favourite in this area. The owners were super welcoming and very kind. The room was clean and bright. The location is just perfect for a day-long visit to Bunratty Folk Park. The breakfast was just so amazing that if anybody wants to experience the true Irish breakfast they should start here as this place's breakfast should be the standard throughout the country.

We spent the night there, as we were planning to partake in the medieval feast event. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances I lost my booking there so we were invited to have our feast in Kippogue Castle, a mere 20 minute ride away, which proved to be perfect.
so we actually did not spend time there, yet rather in Kippogue Castle. Always a good idea for a visit.

Bunratty is a small village but has a lot to offer.
Bunratty is a small village but has a lot to offer. Visiting the castle and folk park takes at least half a day and is well worth it. We also went to the medevial banquet in the castle - this is also worth the money, we enjoyed it a lot. Apart from the castle there are also several pubs in Bunratty, of which The Creamery and Durty Nellie's are my favourite. And if you'd like to shop for souvenirs, Blarney Woollen Mills Bunratty is a perfect place.

We came to Bunratty to attend the Medieval Banquet.
We came to Bunratty to attend the Medieval Banquet. This is well worth a visit. The food was great! I really enjoyed the Mead welcome drinks too! The staff who were serving our food were also the entertainment. The singing was absolutely fantastic! I sing in a Welsh choir, I was seriously impressed! They instrumentalists were also exceptional. The host was also very funny, so it was a great night!
The castle is a fantastic attraction to visit and spend time with family and learn all about the medieval past.
After the banquet we went into the village and visited the local pubs. What an exceptional warm welcome we received. Both pubs had musicians playing and singing! What a place to visit for a bit of authentic Irish entertainment.

Bunratty provided a close location to Shannon Airport necessary after an overnight flight. We dined at JP Clarks which is lovely and delicious. Dirty Nelly's was adorable, but we couldn't get service. Bunratty Folk Park is well worth a visit. The breakfast served at Bunratty Mews B & B was plentiful and delicious which we could enjoy and be on our way.

Bunratty Castle gives you access to all the rooms.
Bunratty Castle gives you access to all the rooms. If you have trouble walking on narrow steep surfaces you would not have access to most of the castle, however the rest of the park is very interesting and accessible.
As you approach the building, it seems like a great estate house....tall ceilings, large rooms, opulent furnishings. Our room was quite large, with a large bed, and sofas by the window. There is a game room with billiard table and bar area which is quite nice for a B&B, and a baby grand piano (that could really use a tuning). Breakfast is served in a delightful dining room with traditional english breakfast offered. There's a couple of pubs nearby in Bunratty, right by the castle that were quite fun.
The host "Joe" was absolutely fantastic and friendly. He was always there and gave us tips for traveling & restaurants/ bars. Our room was big, lovely furnished and neatly and we enjoyed every second. Only some minutes to go you have everything you need. Food, an original great pub with live music, a petrol station and the Bunratty castle. We loved the village and the feeling there. THANK you Joe and we´ll come back anytime. Be safe & take care! The 3 ladys from Germany :)
For this property 10 evaluation grade is not enough.Great decoration and attention to details
Makes you feel like "home"".The house is situated in bunratty village ,close to Limerick town , with frequent public transportation between.Bunratty villlage is picturesque and peaceful. On the other hand there are plenty of nice restaurants and bars to visit. We wish we had more days to enjoy our stay to Bunratty Castle Gardens and Bunratty vilage.
We arrived and were greeted by a very friendly helpful receptionist.Showed to our very clean, tidy warm room.Had one of the nicest meals in the restaurant. Again very friendly staff, we had a 2 year old with us and nothing was a problem.
Breakfast was excellent, and the owner Noel even joined us for a few minutes.
It's a family run hotel which makes it so nice.
Great location, within walking distance of Bunratty Village. Not
Penny and her husband, who own and run Dunnaree were personable, weloming and helpful. This was my second stay with them and it won't be my last. I will absolutely be returning. Dunaree is in a great location. It's only 20 minutes from Shannon Airport and in walking distance of Bunratty Castle, restaurants, pubs and gift shops.
Facilities were the best we've had on this trip. Rooms were spacious, with.coffee maker, cookies, fresh fruit and refrigerator with milk and cereals available on a shelf. Salmon, homemade croissants and scones delivered the night before. The location was close to Bunratty Castle and 15 minutes from Shannon Airport.
We stayed here because it was cheaper than staying in Shannon and we just needed to be near the airport. But it was clean, comfortable, the staff was wonderful and accommodating and it is a perfect location for walking to Bunratty Castle and Folk Town for an afternoon adventure.
It was extremely clean, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the host and hostess were so lovely! There were facecloths in the bathroom, too (something not often found in Ireland hotels or B&Bs). It was just down the street from Bunratty Castle.
This was a last minute booking due to a change in travel plans, and Mel couldn't have been more accommodating. Their home/rooms were simple & comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, especially the home bake scones! Walking distance to Bunratty Castle.
Location was private and in the country but less than10 minutes from a selection of restaurants and bars in bunratty and of course the castle.
Breakfast was excellent. Friendly host and beautifully decorated suite for excellent value.
The location was only a 2 minute drive from Bunratty Castle and restaurants. The couple running this B&B were so friendly and helpful. There was a great selection for breakfast and the room was lovely. Very happy with everything. 😊
We stayed here to visit Bunratty Castle. The beds were comfy, breakfast (included) had great variety and was delicious, the host was kind and helpful, and the family room was a great value and perfect for our family of 4!
Lovely room with en suite, within walking distance of the village and its 4 pubs/restaurants and the fantastic Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. Great breakfast in our room each day also.
Breakfast was superb! Lorraine was a wonderful host. The house is enormous and furnished so that one feels like royalty. The Medieval Banquet at Bunratty Castle is a must!! Great fun.
Our hosts were very welcoming and gave us a choice of rooms to take that was both comfortable and extremely clean.
The even took us down to Bunratty Castle for the evening show.
Location was brilliant walking distance to shops, restaurants and Bunratty Castle. Also motorway just around the corner to travel to Limerick 10m drive and Ennis 15min
