This was our fourth stop of our 2 week trip, and I finally got a great night sleep on a comfy bed with comfy pillows. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet.

There are several nearby locations to visit, like Blarney Castle and Gardens, Kinsale, Charles Fort, Cobh, Titanic experience, several cathedrals. Driving can be tricky since road signs aren't the greatest help (if there are any signs)..

Blarney made a great post for us to adventure around the south of Ireland. We spent 5 days here bouncing from Cork to the coast and in between. It is small and quiet but charming. There is plenty to visit in the town so we did spend a whole day here as well visiting the castle and local shops.

Blarney is a wonderful little town.
Blarney is a wonderful little town. We enjoyed eating at Muskerry Arms Bar and Christy's Bar while we were there. Everything was walkable and felt very safe. We also bought a few items from Blarney Woolen Mills. This store offered the most Irish wool clothing of anywhere we saw throughout our tour of the country.
We also visited Blarney Castle and grounds. The gardens around Blarney Castle are incredible. There is so much more to see here than we expected. Our trip was in March, so we needed to wear a light winter jacket, but that also meant there were no lines for kissing the stone and touring the castle.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. However, facilities were poor with no on-site restaurant after 4pm, reception area small, food only available in the pub next door. Fine for a business trip but not for a holiday, very basic.

It is a fab hotel but there is something going on with the lift. Every time we got into the lift there was a really bad smell. It smelt like sewage . When we were leaving that morning it was really bad. Other than that l had no complaints . Very happy.

The hotel was lovely.
The hotel was lovely. I was there during a very warm spell so opened the window for air. Unfortunately since my room also overlooked the parking lot, there was noise and light pollution. This would not have been a problem though, but for the open windows.
Great location in the lovely village of Blarney with off street parking available also. Very comfortable room which seemed a world away from the Pub downstairs.......even with the Pub heaving with people, there was not a sound heard in our room. We used Blarney as a base for a few days - really enjoyed our stay & of course great place to be to beat the tourist buses by being first in the queue when the gates open to go to Blarney Castle & Kiss the Stone!
We (2 couples) loved our 3 night stay here. Our rooms were delightful, the hosts friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts delicious. Everything just as depicted in the photos on website. Close to supermarket in Tower and great pub restaurant in Blarney. Plenty to see and and easy drive to Cobh and Cork. Or even Kinsale for the day. Enjoyed wine on our balcony, but lounge and outdoor areas also inviting.
The location was excellent. 5 minute drive from the Castle and Blarney Village.
Breakfast was perfect and filled us for the whole day!
Siobhan was the perfect hostess, extremely helpful with regards to places to eat in the evening and genuinely interested in us and our trip.
Will be back there again on our next trip to the area.
Wonderful hotelier and friendly staff. Beautiful, clean rooms. Large bathrooms that have been updated, but rooms still have wonderful charm. Great bar and kitchen… Also, very walkable to the Blarney Castle and Woolen Mills attractions.
