During my stay at Sundancer Hotel in Lombok, I had a truly unique and memorable experience. We arrived at around midnight, and while there was no one at the reception due to the late hour, the hotel had made proper arrangements for us to receive our key and all necessary instructions, which made our check-in process smooth.
The rooms were incredibly clean, cozy, and had stunning views of Lombok’s pristine nature. One of the aspects I loved most was how peaceful and serene the atmosphere was. The quiet and tranquil environment, combined with the intimate and cozy room setting, made it an ideal place to relax and unwind.
The hotel’s restaurant offered a variety of delicious local dishes that were a highlight of our stay. The freshness of the ingredients and the authentic flavors of Indonesian cuisine made each meal a delightful experience.
I also want to extend my special thanks to the hotel staff for their professional and kind behavior. Although no one was present when we first arrived, throughout our stay, the staff promptly and efficiently addressed any needs or requests we had, always ensuring we felt well taken care of.
Overall, Sundancer Hotel provided an incredibly relaxing and enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in Lombok, and I look forward to returning in the future.

Simple bungalows in an amazing peaceful location. Staff were super friendly and always available when needed. It was nice to be away from big resorts and surrounded by serenity. The best sunsets overlooking the volcano from Bali and Lombok, just incredible! Staff organised a boat to take us to the secret Gilli islands for snorkelling and lunch (beautiful grilled fresh fish), great experience with a local guide who knew where to spot turtles and nemo fish. If you want to stay away from touristic places, this is the place to stay! Free bikes to ride to the village was the best experience where we connected with the locals and had lots of fun with the kids. We stayed 2 nights and wish we had stayed longer! Highly recommended

After all this villa could be a nice, remote place to have rest. The fragipani trees in front of the infinity pool and the seaview is amazing, in certain weather conditions you can see the Agung volcano in Bali from here.
The bedsheets are from nice material (cotton sateen), it’s comfortable.
The morning coffee is delicious.
The staff come to clean every day if you want.
It’s lovely to see the old lady to sweep up the fallen flowers and leaves twice a day. The garden is quite nice.

SNORKELING IS AMAZING. SO MANY WONDERFUL ISLANDS TO GO AROUND AND ALL ARE DIFFERENT. NOT MANY PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT THIS PLACE---YET! FOR SURE ITS COMING.
I HEAR SUMMER HERE IS SOMETHING ELSE. MIGHT NEED A JACKET IN THE EVENING AND NO HUMIDITY. SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE WATER BETWEEN SEKOTONG AND BALI?? I HEAR THE HILLSIDES LOOK LIKE THE SOUTH OF SPAIN. DRY AND NICE BUT ACROSS THE BAY IS RAINIG. I WILL FIND THIS OUT FOR MYSELF.BECAUSE IM COMING BACK.

This is my first time visiting Sekotong with my partner and we loved it. Very peaceful and quiet. We recommend to take a snorkeling trip to Gili Nanggu, Gili Tangkong, Gili SUdak and Gili Kedis. Can't wait to come back here and stay longer.

Too isolated, no transportation available, no taxis. You are forced to stay at your hotel, and if you are unlucky to have a good hotel, then your holidays are spoiled.
Trash everywhere.
We got bitten by dengue mosquitos in Sekotong, so it tells you about the state of waste management.
I would suggest to simply come for islands hopping, although Gili Nanggu is very polluted.

A quiet area with beautiful views, lovely little islands to...
A quiet area with beautiful views, lovely little islands to visit and interesting exploring via the motor bike. A must to do is to hire a local guide and boat and visit the small neighbouring islands for the snorkelling (which is AMAZING) and a sunset from the beach of a tiny island called Gilli Kedis. A perfect and magical day.

Great views of the nearby gilis. Clean beaches and nice coral sand. A few options for food are available and a nice beach bar/restaurant available opposite the Wyndam resort. Nearby Alfamart for snacks etc. Area is walkable but scooters are the better option. Roads are newly paved with no damage.
This place is so lovely right on the water. Very peaceful! Alanna, one of the owners, was so welcoming and a great hostess during our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Bedroom and beds very comfortable. Bathroom a little small but this is not a 5 star hotel. Lots of spaces in the common areas to relax. Food and drink at reasonable prices. All in all the place is great value for money. Excellent snorkeling on the nearby islands. Don't miss the floating seafood restaurant nearby for lunch. Thanks Alanna! We will be back
Great views out to sea and of the nearby islands, staff were really helpful and accommodating, food was good and reasonably priced .The hotel was simple and charming in a very quiet area if you like quiet and being away from the hustle and bustle of a resort area, We chose it for r and r after a really busy 4 days in the Gili islands. Pool was lovely and was in a great location overlooking the bay . had a couple of nice sunsets during* our stay and the colours in the sky were amazing.

Calm beachhuts to chill for a few days. The bungalows are basic but have everything you need. The owner cooks delicious food, so you don't even have to leave the hotel. There is many little chillout places and hammocks on site, where you can easily spend the whole day reading. We also booked a snorkeling trip with them, which was very cool. The coral is beautiful and very healthy in the area.
Fantastic stay at this beautiful and peaceful hotel. Minimalistic and spotless. Great food and great price on extra services offered like laundry, scooters etc. Location wise, it is not close to much, so a scooter is probably a must. Brilliant hospitality
