If you just go from the airport to Nusa Dua and back, I feel like you don't see the real Bali. It is absolutely beautiful, lovely big resorts, tropical plants, beach etc. But. It is very manicured and clearly has been developed for high end tourism, which is fine but misleading if you think that is what Bali is really like.
Having said that, I loved it and would definitely return!

We ate mostly at our Resort and the food and service was way above our expectation. There was a huge variety to choose from and the food was delicious.

For us as active 60 and 70 year olds, this resort was perfect. We stayed off the main road so no traffic noise (the road can be busy during the day). There is a lovely 7k promenade to walk along by the beaches and the lovely posh hotels. The Geger beach at one end is clean with good beach restaurants and beds and parasols to hire. This resort is probably not for the youngsters who want to party every night but there is still plenty going on

Large villa in hi-tech style, beautiful pool with garden view and a lots of flowers. Delicious breakfasts, friendly staff who always tries to help with any of your requests. The villa has home theater system and a projector installed by the pool’s wall like in a cinema. There are many restaurants and shops nearby as well as the beach. Nusa Dua beach is 5 minutes away by Taxi and cost only IDR 30,000 to get there. Tanjung Benoa only 5 minutes walking from the property.

we went to with Bali Hilton for my Daighters first birthday. we stayed 7 nights. we went there thinking we were staying at a 5 star hotel. We left feeling ripped off and lied to. the Beach is un walkable they have machines building walls all day. Half the resort is closed for maintanace. we had a president stay during our stay. He brought 100 + secuirty officers and took up the lifts. the foor was poor the prices exsesive. we did not like anything during our stay. its a fake resort.
The Luxury homestay was immaculate, beautiful and peaceful. The pool was a highlight and was actually cool unlike most pools in Bali. Staff are helpful and go an extra mile to help customers feel welcome This stay was a lovely diversion in Nusa Dua chosen for the close proximity to the airport. Nusa Dua lacks the vibrancy and variety of warungs like other parts of Bali and this homestay made up for it. Enjoyed the tranquility of the premises . I ended up extending my stay.
Gorgeous hotel with lovely, friendly staff. The spacious rooms were great, and they were kind enough to arrange a connecting room for our family. The hotel was meticulously clean, and we enjoyed the magnificent pool view as well as the compact and versatile gym. It's located about a 15-minute walk away from the Bali Collection shopping area on a clean and comfortable pedestrian street. It's also easy to grab a taxi to Nusa Dua and Jimbaran beaches and restaurants.
Really enjoyed our stay here. Outside of the resort hub of nusa dua so you get a bit more of an authentic experience. Fantastic food within walking distance and off the main street so noise isn't an issue. Breakfast was great and the staff really stood out - incredibly helpful and so, so friendly. The pool area is to die for and it was the perfect spot for us to wind down after a lengthy trip to Bali. Fresh water provided whenever we asked was a bonus.
The hotel is located in a secured area, 10 minutes walk from Bali Collection shopping/restaurants area. It is very convenient that the hotel has his own private beach area, with sunbeds and you don`t need to go outside to stay at the beach. They provide you every day 4 bottles of water in your room, and also dental kit, comb, conditioner, shampoo, shower gel and body cream. The main pool was clean, the kids ones looked kind of "green".
Staying at Villa Anjing in Nusa Dua, Bali was an absolutely delightful experience that left me with cherished memories to last a lifetime. From the moment I stepped foot on the property, I was mesmerized by the sheer beauty of the villa and its surroundings. The lush tropical gardens, adorned with vibrant flowers and swaying palm trees, created a serene and tranquil atmosphere that immediately put me at ease.
The hotel is conveniently located on a main road, really close to great restaurants, cafes, mini-markets and laundries. Also it is only 300 metres from Nusa Dua beach and 20 minutes from the airport via a toll road. It is worth to pay the extra USD1 for toll because of the convenience.
The staff from reception, to the restaurant and cleaning are spectacular.
This is a big conference hotel. Location is good, walking distance to bars, restaurants and the Bali Collection with free shuttle bus to its private beach area. The rooms are nice, we booked a pool access which was nice. We preferred the pool at the time share property attached with the swim up bar and lazy river.
Good small resort in Nusa Dua. A great budget friendly place for a more relaxing time in Bali. The breakfast buffet is always a great start in the morning and the spa with the discount is really nice. The hotel has a small private beach that is nice for sunbathing and a quick swim.
When we extended our stay till August 12, not only we had a good price for the room, breakfast was included as well (after the negotiation) which made my boys were so happy. On the other note, there is Bali Collections (lots of restaurants) just walking distance from the hotel.
Amazing environment, clean rooms, helpful staffs. The staff really help to check the room throughly during our check out and found out that we missed out something. This is the only hotel I'm satisfied with during my trip to Bali.
