Nusa Dua is a lot quieter than other parts of Bali, this might not suit everyone, but it did me. No dufa Dufa music pounding out on the beach when you go for a swim, easy to get around and very safe area. Beautiful resorts, loverly food and clean and beautiful open beaches.

The Novotel Benoa is up from Nusa Dua and quieter. It's not too far from local restaurants if you don't want to eat at the hotel all the time. With three pools it never got too crowded even at school holidays. If you want a quieter time in Bali then Nusa Dua or Benoa are the best places.

Nusa Dua is a tourist trap that is suited to people that like all-inclusive 5 star resorts. If you like to experience a country and a bit of culture then stay in a diffeent areas. Bali is already a very touristy place that is designed for mass tourism, but Nusa Dua is designed as a gated area that you spend your time in without really leaving. Lots of western food and everything is overpriced and upmarket.
This is suited to many people that enjoy that sort of holiday, but if you like to have a bit of adventure and culture, then stay in another area, e.g. Sanur, Tulamben, etc.

More quiet than Sanur, Kuta, Seminyak, etc unfortunately the road is too busy and can be very loud! Choosing the good SPA can be difficult, most of SPA staffs are not well trained and has Kampung behaviour/Not Professional.

The Luxury homestay was immaculate, beautiful and peaceful. The pool was a highlight and was actually cool unlike most pools in Bali. Staff are helpful and go an extra mile to help customers feel welcome This stay was a lovely diversion in Nusa Dua chosen for the close proximity to the airport. Nusa Dua lacks the vibrancy and variety of warungs like other parts of Bali and this homestay made up for it. Enjoyed the tranquility of the premises . I ended up extending my stay.
The hotel is excellent. I would give it 5 star. The design is beautiful. The hotel is spotlessly clean, as if brand new. The room has a premium feel. (I recommend staying in the suite). The service, like the hotel, is 5 star - just perfect.
Due to the pandemic, the rate for a room at the moment is very good, so you really get a great value for money. I believe you won't find such a competitive rate for this kind of quality on Bali.
I definetely recommend Courtyard Marriot, Facilities are great and well mantained. Beautiful pools , staffs are extremely polite. Nusa Dua beach is beautiful and cleaner than overall beaches in Bali. Beach club and Bali connection transfer are convenient. Excellente food and breakfast.
