There was no breakfast, even though it said there was when we booked we had to pay for breakfast and went to a little place owned by a mushroom beach bungalows which was cute. The location was fantastic though I must say- The staff were lovely it’s a great spot

The stay at Aurora was very pleasant. The location was excellent, the pool was delightful, the room was clean and tidy, and the service was great! Aurora took the initiative to arrange everything from Bali to the accommodation, with our approval. We received a warm welcome upon arrival. We could rent scooters, they offer activities, or help you with your own planning. It is a small family business without too much fuss!

The pool is perfect. Good modern and seems new. Perfect looking out over the ocean. Loved it. Beds were comfortable. The staff were lovely and helpful. Beautiful gardens and the bedrooms and decks of each room are lovely to sit at look at the view. Breakfast was good.

Great little bungalow run by a very sweet family! 3 villas with a beautiful pool and right next to picturesque Dream Beach and Devil’s Tears. Loved the hospitality (owner provider amazing “Happy Honeymoon” cake) and breakfast plus it was very easy to around by renting a scooter. Overall a great place to stay!

Devils Tears was a spectacular visit. Beaches, beautiful, but not able to swim due to massive waves and rips, although we didn't visit Jungutbatu beach. Bring reef shoes if you do decide to swim! Beaches have beautiful names and views are spectacular, but not often really isable...
Very quiet at night. In the area we stayed there was one restaurant playing awful live bands, but that also closed by 20. Don't expect a nice peaceful place to relax into the evening, drinking cocktails and watching the stars or the waves crashing.
Sadly, the island doesn't seem to have a rubbish disposal system ... Unless that means throwing it into the jungle, or onto vacant lots. It's a shame because it's a beautiful island.

NL is a taste of what Bali was like 25 years ago but it has a good range of quality hotels to choose from on the main beach, up the hill and over at Mushroom Bay. There are three or four good restaurants on main beach but be careful ordering bacon. Make sure it is cooked.

If you like stepping back in time, going through an overgrowth of trees whilst riding on rugged unsealed bumpy roads in the back of an open truck, then this is for you. Amazing accommodation is scattered around the island, with crystal clear small beaches. Waterfront restaurants offer really nice food and drinks while you breath in the views. You can pay for excursions to go diving or to visit other islands, or just enjoy relaxing in the one spot.

Nusa Lembongan is a gentle, safe and lovely Balinese experience. It is not as crowded as other places so is very pleasant and easy to walk around and explore. There are many easy ways to arrange day trips for snorkeling, kayaking, etc. Rides are readily available to get from one place to the other, local cuisine inexpensive and good - same with accommodations. The locals are very friendly and relaxed. This is a great family vacation place, or to travel solo. Monkey Beach had a great hang out for happy hour vibe and Dream Beach is spectacular for a great swim in beautiful water with white sand and good restaurant on a high promontory with lovely breeze and view.

We stayed in Mushroom Bay, Nusa Lembongan for 3 days which felt like the right amount of time to explore. It was sandwiched in between 6 days in Ubud so we wanted to swim, snorkel and paddle board. We managed all three. It has a very laid back vibe - some good little cafes but some relatively overpriced places too. Roads are narrow so only drive if you’re confident.

We stayed 5 nights which was probably enough time. ISLAND IS BUSY but I preferred to Bali which is now really touristy. If I lived in Australia (we are UK) I would definitely come again to get some amazing weather. It was a long way for us so I don't think we'd return. Great for young people. Now we are a bit older we do prefer quieter places. It reminded us a bit of Mykonos in Greece (Sandy Bay - chilled vibe/good food/sunsets). The people are so lovely but very poor. We loved our adventure & very glad we came but we wouldn't return due to how busy it was x
We came for two nights of our honeymoon. We were in a hut that could see the water (not ocean front) which was a beautiful view. The huts and grounds are well taken care of and there are many helpful happy staff. They helped us book activities and there is no shortage of things to do on site. We had a great private snorkel and a day trip to Penida. The bed was clean and comfortable and the location is great on Mushroom Bay. I appreciated the availability of gluten free bread and having breakfast at the hotel restaurant was a highlight.
our favourite stay in Bali despite awful weather! such a cute set up, lovely pool and ran by the most welcoming, friendly people. It was raining and they were happy to ring restaurants with pick up services to come and get us and even dropped us off on their motorbikes at the beaches. it’s walking distance to the side near cennigan but a bit far from the port side. They even arranged the ferry and pick up from our hotel in Ubud to nusa lembongan and then to Gili T completely hassle free. Really go above and beyond! would recommend!
Villa Penyon was the perfect accommodation for our trip to Lembongan. As a family of 5 with children aged 8-14, there was so much space, and great outdoor/indoor spaces. The villa is well equipped, beautiful breakfasts and a well stocked drinks fridge. The pool was amazing. Ketut and Wayan made sure our stay was great and were very helpful. A nice walk to Mushroom Bay and transport available for other places. Couldn’t recommend it more, we will return for sure!
we liked everything about the property. the nipa huts were perfectly designed, the aesthetics of the place is amazing. not to mention the location is about 2 mins from mushroom bay port. the staff arranged our tickets from sanur as well as renting scooter with driver for me and my friend. there’s also a spa in the property but didnt get to try. will do next time! definitely staying here again when we come back to nusa lembongan

When you arrive to the villas, the nice working staff gives you a cold drink, and you see the views from the swimming pool and restaurant, you know that you are in paradise. Amazing views to the Devil´s Tear and perfect spot to see the sunset. Recommended to ask the staff to snorkel/diving (amazing sea life there) and to rent a scooter to discover both Nusa Ceningan and Lembongan and their amazing beaches

The garden and pool area is also quite nice and with a lot of details.
The host Ngurah is a nice guy who can help you with everything on the island, like renting scooters or a snorkeling trip with a traditional fishing boat. I also can recommend the inhouse restaurant Steng, with good and delicious food and smoothies.
There wasn't a thing I didn't like about our stay at Royal Retreat Villas. The small cluster of well appointed villas are desirably located close to beaches and eateries. The grounds are lush with well maintained tropical gardens lending to a very Bali vibe. The staff, notably Dewi, go up and beyond. Without any reservations, I highly recommend Royal Retreat Villas for both both families and couples.
It's a very big, spacious hotel situated right at the tip of Nusa Lembongan. From our ocean view room balcony, we had a beautiful view of Mt Agung.
The staff were very friendly & helpful, the grounds & pool were well maintained. The breakfast was basic but ample choices available.
The room itself was quite spacious & of course the view from the balcony was just gorgeous 😍
Great property. The villas are super cute and comfortable. The verandas are great if it rains - you can still enjoy the outdoors and stay dry while listening as it comes down. It’s very close to the beach - literally a three minute walk. The water is calm, so swimming/playing in the crystal clear water is great. Lots of restaurants/warungs in the vicinity.
Such a beautiful hotel and family who run it. I would 100% recommend staying here for your trip to Nusa Lembongan, the pool has a beautiful view and chill area, the view from the sea view room is incredible and the staff/family are some of the most pleasant and respectful people I had the pleasure of meeting. It's an oasis, probably the best accommodation in Nusa Lembongan, and very close to the beach where boats arrive. The garden and the bedrooms look so incredibly nice. I like that they have a water refill, instead of all the plastic waste we see in other hotels. The rooms are huge and beautiful.
Beautiful family bungalow in a great location. Staff and manager very helpful as my bag fell out of transport van to hotel and they located it and went to collect it. The Mushroom Bay location on Lembongan is lovely and is a great stopover before heading to Giles and Lombok.
The villa was as nice as in the pics, good location (short walking distance from Mushroom bay), Staff was amazing - friendly, helpful and always there to help with a smile. Would recommend to stay here for anyone visiting Nusa Lembongan.
