This is one of the worst hotel i have ever stayed. This I would say a 2 star hotel instead of 4 star. I requested a non-smoking room, but I was given a smoking room instead. I went down to the reception and said, you have given me a smoking room and the staff said that all Junior Suites are smoking rooms. This was not mentioned in booking.com when booking the room. I said, "I am not very well and smoking smell is good for me". They brought a Daikin air purifier and let it run to reduce the bad smoking odour. I went to bed early as I was not well. The phone rang at 11.00pm, I took the receiver and left it unhooked. Then, someone knocked at my door after 11.00pm. The staff wanted to take the Air Purifier away, and that annoyed the hell out of me at this time of the day when most people are in bed. Next day morning, I went to check out and told the staff and supervisor what I had to go through last night and also forwarded a whole lot of photos of how dirty the room was and all issues.

We stayed at that hotel in Surabaya for 3 nights. It is situated in the very center of the city in the busy street. There is a corner shop nearby and some catering places. We lived in the room on the 22nd floor, the view overlooks the city, it is quite picturesque. The room is quite spacious,the linen is clean and fresh, the bed is big and comfortable. There is an aircon, a TV, a hairdryer, a shower and a large bath, the hotel provides some toiletries incl. a toothbrush, a toothpaste, some soap, etc. There is buffet breakfast served, the choice of dishes is enormous at every liking. The staff is very helpful and courteous, they do speak English.
