Ohhh, but how much I liked the property. The first day, breakfast wasnt really my type, but afterwards I had fruit and it was plenty and my bf had pancakes and loved them.
The room was clean and the staff amazing (like almost everywhere in Indonesia), Actually wanted to stay more but it was fully booked.
Though it was fully booked we enjoyed the pool to a maximum and even had it to ourselves. And we went ot a restaurant close by (1 min walk-Jali I think) and the food was out of this world.

My partner and I recently stayed at the Flamingo Boutique Hotel in Gili Trawangan, and we couldn't be more satisfied with our experience. We spent three nights there, and from start to finish, everything was exceptional.
The entire place seemed to be expertly managed by Hendra, who was an incredibly competent host. He organized everything we needed with ease and efficiency. Whether it was arranging bike rentals, an all-day snorkeling tour, or transport to Nusa Penida, Hendra took care of it all. He even had excellent suggestions for fine dining on the island, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Breakfast at the hotel was delicious and generously portioned, keeping us full and energized for half the day. Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. We also appreciated the pool area, where we could relax and read in the serene environment.
One unique feature was the open bathroom concept, which was new to us but not uncommon in Indonesia. It added a charming touch to our stay, and we even had a friendly gecko visitor in the bathroom every night, whom we affectionately connected with.
Overall, the Flamingo Boutique Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The service, amenities, and atmosphere made our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gili Trawangan.

The beaches are perfect with crystal clear water and an excellent temperature and a great option for diving, you can easily swim with turtles in several different parts of the island, delicious food, super friendly locals, amazing live music options, great option for holidays, for couples, singles and family.

you have everything in the north side you have quiet - nice sunset at west side - water sport at sunrise side and best sunrise ever - more than 100 restaurants - dive centers also and party every night up to the mooring - white sand beaches .

Very much a young persons island and not really for oldies...
Very much a young persons island and not really for oldies like me. I would have preferred to stay on Gilli Air but I wanted to experience Gili T first hand.
Very busy and crazy with hundreds or boats n people arriving all day long so main jetty area gets ridiculously busy.
Only pushbikes or horse n cart and you cannot negotiate price or you walk around.
They are almost finished building or laying a paved road all around the island, for now there is still some sandy bogged areas not suitable to bike ride thru.
Lovely places to eat and some good shopping but beware the prices are much higher than mainland Bali.
The night food market opens at 6pm and has a vast array of food very cheap that is cooked fresh to your order and is amazing. The market is a Ferry wait area in day and food dinner market at night.
HINT - you must buy a departure tax when leaving island, DO NOT wait until you are boarding your boat, go onto jetty and buy the morning before Ferry arrives it save queueing and standing for a long period.

Came to Gili T 7 years ago, was going to stay for a few days but decided to stay for a full week. Came back again this year and it has changed a lot, but the vibe is the same and the local people here are still as amazing. Ended up spending almost my whole trip here, so 2,5 weeks.
Get to know the locals, try the local food, go diving/snorkeling and enjoy the life here. There is something for everyone.

i mean me and my friend could have stayed here for months! people are so lovely, beaches are insane, did a day snorkelling trip to the statues and gilli meno and swam with turtles and went to a turtle sanctuary!
PLEASE NOT USE THE HORSES FOR TRANSPORT!!!
The horses looked so undernourished and i understand it can feel far to walk but please do! So many places to hire bikes from so if dont want to walk can always cycle :) we walked everywhere and it was the best in out opinion cause you could really take everything in!
Great selection of restaurants! They were all lovely, not very culural I know but amazing mexican, indian (i cant remember the name but omg it was on the front strip and had beautiful lanterns and the food was incredible!!)) and lots of pizza places! obviously loads of amazing local food aswell which we enjoyed!
Nightlife was very good also!! fun clubs and bars and the staff are so interactive and friendly
Obviously a bit more expensive than the rest of bali but nothing extreme in comparison to england!! couldn’t recommend more
Located at the northern end of Gili T, it is absolutely perfect for snorkelling with turtles right out the front of the hotel. We enjoyed breakfast daily on the beach and the staff are absolutely amazing! This is the quieter part of Gili but still close enough to reach busier spots on a bike if thats your thing. The staff booked us a private boat tour with a guy named Anam (highly recommend) and he was a legend. So friendly and hospitable. We travlled with kids and Id recommend staying here for sure.
Everything was perfect. Great selection of breakfast. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. The location of the Villa is the very best part of Gili Trawangan, quiet, the beach was very clean, perfect spot for snorkelling, relaxation.The happy our, daily, means free coffee, tea and cake in the lobby, was a nice surprise! Big thanks for the Resort staff to make our stay unforgettable. Will return in the future.
A beautiful hotel to stay at.
The location of the hotel is brilliant, it’s just walking distance from the ferry port.
The rooms are decently sized and the bathroom is also big enough. Having balconies in each room is a very nice gesture from the hotel and gives a good view of the sky changing colours as the sun goes down.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
All in all, highly recommended to stay at this resort while in Gili Trawangan.
Everything was great. We stayed only 3 nights before heading to Gili Meno and have good memories from this place. The value for the money paid is really high. Probably booking again in a future visit to Gili Trawangan. They helped us to quickly book a private tour to the snorkeling spots and any directions we needed.
Stay here and avoid the crowded area of the harbor!

There are a lot of cats living in the hotel, so 10/10 on that for sure! Friendly staff, and very helpful. RECOMMENDATION: Rent here the bikes to move arround the island, are lot cheaper than aoutside the hotel (50k IDR per bike per day). Amazing breakfasts. This place is a good choice for those who want to experience diving on gili islands, they have everything you need to do scuba diving (equipment, monitors, boat...).
Everything about this hotel was amazing from the staff to the decoration. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are lovely, the pool is amazing and the attention to detail from the staff was excellent. A 3 star hotel like a 5 star.
You get a free turn down service at night, free nibbles by the pool throughout the day, always checking if everything is okay. Yuni, as well as all the staff, were so helpful and friendly.
Hotel Lumi was a dream! It was the absolute perfect location on Gili Trawangan. The staff was so nice and worked with us when we had a last minute change of our dates. The property was spectacular! It was the perfect location on Gili T as it was away from the main down town but still able to ride bikes to get to downtown.
It was our honeymoon and they put the most spectacular flowers on our bed to surprise us!
Confy bed and sheets, super wide bathroom. Nice breakfast with a los of options. There was a hairdryer in the bathroom (wich my gf was greatful about). They serve you the breakfast into your room without any charges. They offer bikes for rent for a lower price than other places. They clean uf you room daily. The hotel is on the West side of the island and really close to the beach and other nice venues.

From start to finish, this hotel exceeded any expectations that we had. We met Marcel at check in and he couldn't be any more welcoming telling us where to see turtles, where to try for food etc. The beach bbq was honestly one of the best I've had and extremely cheap. As we were on our honeymoon, the hotel staff went above and beyond. Would definitely come back to Bali just to stay here again.

Trust me, I was so glad i didnt book somewhere with "beachview", there was very little privacy to all the hotels along the main strips, at the villa we had total privacy and was super quiet!!

Pretty much everything. The hotel is wonderful, has the best sunset view and the staff is the kindest. Amazing breakfast. Best location of the island, away from the noise and crowds of the Gili T harbor.
We also loved the room and toilet, extremely spacious and comfortable. The food is excellent in the Cloud 9 restaurant and lounge.
