Even in my quiet authentic neighborhood where my rental villa was located, there were several small temples within walking distance. It was enjoyable just walking around the neighborhood taking pictures of the sights. Much of Denpasar is like this.

Not a place for tourists would suggest a day trip if you really wanted to visit and prices are slightly cheaper compared to the populated tourist spots such as Kuta/Ubud and Jimbaran etc.
There isnt anything to do and drivers were quite surprised to hear us say that we'd chosen to stay here for our visit. Locals do not speak english and was hard to communicate very few understood a handful of words.

It was fabulous and not too far from the airport and other lush locations. My hotel was on a main street so lots of hustle and bustle but we didn't notice until we were actually outside. It was easy to get to Finns Beach Club which is a must especially VIP and also although not so near Ubud it is still easily accessible. Favourite places in Dreamz Museum which is a 3D painting museum where you get to be part of the paintings, felt like a supermodel.

The wonderful old structures and culture seems to be overrun by the constant and relentless traffic. The food is hit and miss - take care. While we had a great experience I wouldn't be returning to that area - perhaps to a more remote area that doesn't feel so over-used. All the people we interacted with were lovely.

Food very different that I know, people nice behavior except it's very jungle law on road, I wouldn't use motorcycle in this area.
Very polite and welcoming family, and the room was very clean and their pride in the business was obvious. The bed was quite comfortable, although the head of the bed was facing the door/courtyard which was strange. The WiFi worked fine, there was also a cute swimming pool although we didn't try it. Cozy place for a short stay, and not too far from the airport also. I liked how they have "quiet hours" at night, and don't allow young children, which is hard to find at many other properties.
We had a wonderful time staying here the manager and all the employees were wonderful and helped us navigate Bali and find fun things to do every day. The hotel has a driver who is available for half-day and full day bookings and will take you around and show you things to do. The manager was exceptional, and the rooms were extremely clean and modern. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re in Bali and especially Denpasar.
This hotel has good sized rooms and comfy beds. The rooms are located around a very nice pool. Location os about 20 minutes walk from the center of town and the museum. It is slightly further to the big markets. It is next door to an excellent good value restaurant for lunch and dinner as well as a local much cheaper eatery. However there was no place nearby to get breakfast.
We got here after a long trip from Europe and relaxed a couple of days. Its in the rice fields in what felt like an old temple and we loved that about it. The pool was great and the little balacony infeon of the villas are super cosy. It was peaceful and a place to relax completely befor exploring more of Bali. The family running the place was super welcoming and kind.
Very nice place with good aircon, wifi and TV with lots of channels. It's in a balinese area and you got everything you need around you. It's quiet, comfy, clean and friendly staff.Even got a shared kitchen with all facilities. And best: if you want to fix your teeth: it's got one of the best dentists right in the hotel with her praxis...very fair prices!!!
The hotel staff were very helpful and really nice, large bed that was clean and comfortable, air conditioner worked ok and kept the room at a comfortable temperature. The room.size was good and the area was quiet with nothing that disturbed our sleep.
Breakfast was a simple menu that was ok, the staff in the restaurant were very polite and nice.
One of the best place I stayed in bali!! My two last night before flying home, It was what I needed! I had the double room with the balcony and it was a little heaven!

Location is not in the tourist area, but fits for those planning to stay for business purpose in Denpasar area, long stay, or travelling with group of people. The facility has small kitchen/pantry so that you can cook or prepare your own meal.
Bed was very comfortable and tokm was a good size, staff were very helpful, especially as it was Bali's Nyepi Day and they provided us with good food!
