We were only there one night as passing through. But first impressions count for a lot. We arrived quite late but the staff were straight out to meet and greet us. All staff were very friendly. We really like the property. It had a rustic and relaxing feel and a nice pool. Good breakfast. Good facilities.

This is a gem. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had a sky deluxe room, magnificent views of the ocean like being on a ship. The restaurant Samuh is located overlooking the ocean, lots of choices for breakfast lunch and dinner. It was great to watch the fishermen coming in every morning and unload their catch. In the evening the local children play football on the beach. You can snorkel off the beach. 10 minutes walk into Candi. Most restaurants will pick up and drop off. A warning to anyone with disabilities the sky rooms are upstairs no lift. But saying that the views are worth it.

Candidasa is a great place. We went to Vincent’s Restaurant for great food and warm live jazz. A must to go and please book for the live jazz. Also some very nice shops. Not a lot but interesting. Lots of restaurants.

There's not a whole lot to do in Candidasa unless you take...
There's not a whole lot to do in Candidasa unless you take one of the trips on offer. There's no beach to speak of so swimming in the ocean isn't possible. There's only one road and it's used by all the traffic travelling along the coast - which makes it very noisy and crossing the road can be an adventure. Lots of the restaurants focus on western cuisine - pasta and pizza feature prominently - but there are some that offer fabulous Balinese and Indonesian dishes. The best I found was called Bintang - fabulous local food and very reasonably priced in a very pleasant setting.

Wonderful starting base for exploring quiet beaches, waterfalls, forest. A visit to the oldest traditional village with traditional handicrafts was exceptional for me. Virgin Beach is one of the best beaches in Bali. Prices are much lower than in others tourist regions.

It is quiet and the amosphere captures you and sends you to a piece of heaven on earth! Yor forget time and you are just happy to exists and be here ! Typical Bali 5 star service and smiles ! the food was excelent and appertisers were large and sooooo tasty,, Prices were so reasonable !The chefs are artists ! the grounds are manicure and flows with the water earth and sky ! We took trips snorkling and snorkling and fishing for half a day for 500,000rpn you can negotiate but it is a very fair price! had a amazing time and sites with local fisherman from the docks 50 feet away.,You melt in to the settings culture and food and get recharged,,We were happy to spend most of our time here at the resort!

This is a sweet town. We came here specifically to experience Nyepi day and the festivals leading upto Nyepi. Ogoh-Ogoh parade was awesome.

Candi Dasa is a beautiful place and I hope it doesn't change...
Candi Dasa is a beautiful place and I hope it doesn't change like other places in Bali. so many places to visit while there as well. If your looking for peace and quiet and to get away from it all this is the place. Please keep it this way.
The Property has a beautiful laid back feel to it. East Bali is much more laid back than West Bali- it is almost like a different country. The bar is especially beautiful with south facing lawn and terrace seating. Putu the bartender mixes good classic and innovative local cocktails. We ate breakfast every morning at the hotel with a good quantity of food and again special dishes like Balinese Bubur and a very good Herb egg white omelette. Finally a special mention of the staff who were efficient, helpful and pleasant to deal with.

Beautiful ambienceand energy from the moment I arrived. Welcomed with a watermelon juice. Fabulous cafe & menue. Located right on the beach. Beautiful grounds. Local fishermen run tours to the islands. Massage on site. Beds are comfotrable. Yoga shala over looking the pool guests welcome to use. I would definetly come back. Hotel can organise scooter rental. One of my favorite hotels in Bali.
I Loved Bali Santi, I booked 4 nights and then stayed 6 nights. The location right on the beach is just amazing and to hear the waves crashing in and had a few rain storms too, it was just a great place to be. Lovely bungalow, very clean, really great food in restaurant, I ate there every night, fab Margaritas and met some lovely people. I will definitely return. Thank You.
Staff are amazing! We were so well looked after. We stayed in 4 other resorts in Bali before our 2 nights in Candidasa & Relax Beach Resort was definitely the best service. Cheap accommodation but a great spot overlooking the ocean and the pool was very close to our room. It was the perfect place to relax! Loved it. A special mention to Niloh who looked after us so well.
The pool is wonderful and the water did not hurt my eyes. This hotel is half the price of neighbouring hotels, and has a wonderful ocean view from the room that most hotels in Candidasa don't offer . The staff were very friendly and kind. There was free parking at the hotel, so I could drive straight in,. Thanks very much for a relaxing and comfortable stay.
The staff at RamaShinto are very friendly and professional. They made me feel right at home. I loved the feeling of being right in the middle of a beautiful garden! The hotel and gardens are well taken care of by the energetic staff. The Lotus garden and the beach steps away are a bonus!!
We loved our family room and the outside sitting areas. We are bird watchers and the birds on the property were abundant. We also liked having breakfast overlooking the Candidasa Lotus Pond. We liked the pool as well. the location was central. the beds were comfortable.
This is our 3rd trip to Candidasa. previously stayed at Bali Santi bungalows and Sea breeze, but Nirwana wins hands down.

The outside area is very pleasant with garden, pool and access to the sand when the tide is low. It has a very familiar and relaxing atmosphere. Very recommended for families.
