Our destination was the spa in Mako, therefore the location was perfect. It is located just a few minutes away from it. The hosts were very nice. The appartment is located in the yard, it is very quiet. There is a small seating area by the entrance, but not too private as there are also other poeple who stay there. There is a parking space by the building but also in the area there were plenty of parking spaces.

The entrance is a bit hidden, it isn't at the side where the main parking is, so I recommend looking it on a map before coming.

The spa is exceptional. Water is warm and relaxing. It is a great experience to swim outside on -1 degrees. This period of year is probably good because it was not crowded just right. Also sauna world was great. There are a few nice restaurants around the spa.

Makó is a small but charming city 30km west from Szeged.
Makó is a small but charming city 30km west from Szeged. Also know as the Onion city, hence the onion is a main symbol you can find in many buildings and monuments design. The main reason to go there is Mako Hagymatikum Furdo or just Mako spa complex. With its unique architecture and great indoor and outdoor pools and thermal spas, saunas and facilities, it is a great place to relax and recharge, or just spend time with friends and family in a tranquil and stress free environment. Locals are very friendly, kind and welcoming.
Mako is perfect for a weekend get away.

Good position very close to the highway. The host is welcoming, discreet and ready to help you all the time. Clean and well equipped location. Breakfast was varied and copious. An excellent place to stop for one night and not only.
The apartment was great! The hosts were more than helpful and the communication with them was smooth and immediate, check-in and check-out being very easy. The apartment is very tastefully furnished. It is also modern and impeccably clean. We liked the comfortable beds. We had all the amenities promised in the description. The flat is near the aqua park. We'll certainly come back there next time we stay in Mako.
We were located in the Princess Room. Great location of the property, very close to Mako Hagymatikum Furdo, with private parking, sauna and a lovely garden. Our room was clean and had numerous facilities, the bed was extremly comfortable and we could even check in earlier which was a nice surprise. The young lady from the reception had a friendly and welcoming attitude.
The apartment is new, modern, super clean, and very comfortable and it has everything you need for the short spa visit and stay in Mako (including slippers)! The host is very responsive and the check-in process is very smooth. The bonus was to use the accommodation parking even after the checkout. We will come again for sure.
The apartment is fantastic, spacious, clean, very good equpted and the location is just beside the Spa and Welness Center. The heating was great too. The owners are very nice people and we had a warm welcome. When we come again in Mako we would deffinitely chose to come to Orchidea Apartment again. Best recomendations.

Great location and spotlessly clean, huge apartment. Anytime we book Mako in the future we will book here. This is probably the best value most enjoyable property/hotel I've ever booked. My good lady left some clothes behind which they kindly posted onwards. Fantastic 😊
