Exceptionally clean and rather quiet. The staff is polite and very helpful, most of them are young and speak fluent English. The hotel is warm enough, bathrooms a bit warmer than rooms. You can choose from a variety of food at both breakfast and dinner. All the cooked food is warm and delicious. Three kinds of juice are available at breakfast, together with cold and warm milk, tea, water and a wide range of coffee. Both breakfast and dinner include several desserts.

Unfortunatly the roads are worse and worse in Hungary. Gyula it’s beatiful, in the autumn you can make great photos. I’ve found very neat and cozy restsurants such as Varkonyi bistro, was always full with guests, the food was very tasty, serving 1st class. They have a cookie shop named The 100 years old cookie shop, but was under renovation who knows till when, that was bit sad, I always visit it.

Visited Gyula Aquapark for 2 days. I can say that it was nice but seems like they try to charge you for everything:
* 1.5 EUR/person city tax;
* parking near Aquapark about 8 EUR/day Monday-Sunday.
Food & drinks pricy compared to similar Aquaparks (Szeget, Mako, Timisoara).
Long waiting time at restaurant queue (restaurants with no waiters or waitresses).
Very crowdy at the hot thermal water pools.

Nice town with history. Clean, people were nice. I loved that everyone was biking, bike roads were everywhere, the people seem to be friendly and know how to spend a good evening. The restorants were full , the streets were full of people. It was lively. I wish I could have stayed more.

A great small town with fantastic spa and the second oldest cukraszda in Hungary but first in taste to money ratio.
Dobos torta and Chokolate Mousse is a must. But not together please...
Gyulai famous kolbasz and Bekes palinka finish it all.

Food was delicious (both at the Spa, and in the city - Skorpio pizzeria).

Almássy Kastély and the Castle were fantastic, in autumn the colours are beautiful in the beautiful parks. Százéves Cukrészda is a place to go, more than 100 years old cake shop with extraordinary cakes and hand made chocolate.
Fantastic stay at the resort. The hotels spa and sauna was an additional bonus for us to add to our relaxing time. It was nice to see the inside children’s play centre and a lovely new playground across the park. Food was outstanding, it wasn’t a problem to cater for dietary needs.
We love Gyula and resort, keen visitors of the town with our family twice a year.
- The location is very good, close to both the Baths and the Center of city.
- The included parking inside the yard is a plus.
- It is a relatively quiet area, the kid plaground in front did not disturbed us as others complained
- Good insulating windows and blockout curtains.
- Room is large, plenty of room and storage in cabinets.
The location is superb, we had a direct view of the Gyulai Várfürdő. The balcony is transparent glass and the kids stayed a lot outside admiring the view.
The staff was excellent and friendly.
It was also superb that we could put all the bills on the room and pay only at leave.
The food is also excellent, with local specialties.

The room was clean and very spacious, actually almost like 2 bedrooms ( we were traveling with our 14 year old, so that was a pleasant surprise). The bathroom was also big and had a bathtub. We enjoyed the hot tub and infrared sauna. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, but located at another hotel nearby.
Very close to aquapalota and city center. Quite location. Parking inside the courtyard. 2 bathrooms. Enough toilet paper (rarely find an apartment with toilet paper). New scourer and dishwash liquid. New coffee package, enough sugar. Central heating. Everything looks like the pictures.
Short distance to Aqua Palace. Super accommodation conditions at a decent price. Parking place in the yard (if the car is longer it is a little more difficult, but it is ok). The host is very friendly, kind and attentive to offer you maximum comfort.

Superb location. Fairly simple but new and functional fit-ups. Good private court parking. Decent interior height and room ratios. Reasonably priced, clean and central stay. Everything you need to/can see in Gyula is within minutes of walking distance.
In walking distance to spa. Located in quiet neighborhood. Spacious, with parking in the yard. We had a great stay here. They even have washing machine and iron so you don't have to cary lot of stuff for longer stays.
The apartment is exactly as in the pictures (the one on the upper floor, which we booked), it is clean, it is 1-2 minutes from AquaPalota, easy communication, punctuality, invoice, for us it was wonderful. Thank you!

The room was big and you can also cook some food. Very clean and we had a little terrace where you can smoke. The area is very quiet and very close to the aquapark.
We liked the central location of the property and the price. We were planning to use tha jacuzzi and sauna, but we passed out early so skipped the wellness.
