Hotel Dubrovnik Palace, hotel in Komolac

Situated in the Lapad Peninsula, Hotel Dubrovnik Palace offers a beach and a scuba diving centre.

We arrived early morning from a cruise ship and were aware that our room wouldn’t be ready for us. Spent the morning by the beautiful pool, had lunch and then when we went to book in we were told we were being upgraded to an Executvie Suite. This was quite unexpected as we had only paid for a Superior Double. The suite was enormous, with the most stunning views and our own private huge terrace. What a lovely surprise. Everything was very clean, two bathrooms plus a sitting area. Staff here are wonderful and very friendly. Restaurants are very good too (we tried both) and the prices are not excessive considering it is a 5* hotel and not much more than prices in Old Town Dubrovnik. We took the bus to Old Town and the stop is right outside the hotel - cost is 2 Euros per person each way. Really loved this hotel and we hope to return.

Amazing location with easy access into town via bus right outside hotel. Great facilities with beautiful sea views and lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. It’s a bit on the pricey side but value for money when you consider the facilities and how well you’re looked after. And it is 5 star after all.

This hotel was a wonderful surprise. From the outside it didn’t look inspiring, but when we reached our room we were very pleasantly surprised. Large, modern- I assume it was recently renovated- comfortable with a great bathroom too. Staff were sensational, happy to store our luggage pre booking in, and then let us check in very early. Restaurant staff were excellent too. Close to shops, restaurants and transport.

Very peaceful, a great place to relax which was what we wanted. Convenient to catch bus to Dubrovnik town, but much less busy than the city. Lovely waterside restaurant, comfortable outdoor and inside areas, useful rooftop terrace to watch the world go by. I saw a kingfisher while we were having lunch at the restaurant and we watched a pair of cranes flying around the grass and trees on the opposite bank of the estuary. Very clear water - fish and waterfowl abound.
