It is located Santo Tomas de castile, easy to take a taxi ( 30 GTQ ) or chicken bus( 3GTQ) from puerto Barrios center. Recommend to take couple days to chill out. There is walkable to beach and waterfall.

The beds were very comfortable and the property was quiet. We didn't hear a lot of barking dogs or fireworks. The other guests were very considerate. The pool was well maintained and very clean and pristine. It was clear they are continously working and investing in restoring the property to a vibrancy I suspect it once was. All new sound proof windows and doors, modern bathroom fixtures. The breakfast was decent. We were really happy we chose MarBrissa. We were well rested and relaxed when we left.

Amazing sea view from the dorms and the place is amazing to just have some laid back days and enjoy doing nothing. It is in town so you can shop, party, and go for a stroll at anytime of the day.
Big props to the boat driver working with the hostel (I have unfortunately forgot his name but he is THE BEST).

I got food poisoning and the owner of the place helped me greatly. Gave me médecine and even upgraded my room so that I could rest and have my own private facilities. The best staff I have ever encountered. I recommended it
