We are greatly impressed by the hospitality and professional attitude of Marina and the whole staff of Sithonia Lodge. The vacation houses are immaculately clean, spacious and furnished with everything you need to feel as cozy as in your own home. At just 2-minute walk’s distance is a private beach with umbrellas and comfy foldable chairs, and the sea is quiet, with welcoming sand bottom. Very good communication with the apartment owner. A wonderful family that does everything to make you feel comfortable. Very spacious with a large terrace and yard. Noise from the street does not reach the apartment. The furniture is a bit older, but everything is functional and there is everything you need. Pillows should be softer. The park and playground are a minute's walk away, as well as the market and grocery store. The beaches are only a few minutes' walk away. In general, for decent money you get a pretty good accommodation, my family and I had a great time.

An ideal holiday spot for families and couples with a landscape that combines the soothing sea breeze with the fresh mountain air from the neareby pine forests. The main squre of the village feel like a balcony overlooking the Aegean, gently shaded by enormous pine trees. The location is peffect for exploring the whole area of Halkidiki by car. The locals are very friiendly and helpful too.

Lovely village with sufficient dining opportunities. The beach is not exceptional, but good for having a bath. There are numerous beaches around the village in a radius of 10 km, so Metamorfosi is a strategical base for touring the upper peninsula.
For eating out I recommend the fish taverna over the harbour and the Pizzeria on the high street.

Small place but has almost everything you need from restaurants to shops and markets. The place is very peaceful and the people there are nice. The only drawback is that the beaches are not very good, but there are beautiful beaches in the surrounding area

I loved Metamorfosi - it feels quiet enough to feel calm and...
I loved Metamorfosi - it feels quiet enough to feel calm and get you relaxed but also busy enough to have things to do and explore. We stayed in Village Mare Hotel (fantastic resort!) with a very short walk to a great beach. Favourite places? The sea (I recommend taking a snorkel, the underwater life was beautiful!), Nikiti - old town (great views of the nearby hills & sea, Barcarolla bar with fantastic cocktails, great feel), and the Sunny Bay Beach bar for a craft bear and kids playground. Also the Blue Flag beach in the evening, just stars and the waves.
We went for all-inclusive so ate at Village Mare only - fantastic food selection, even for fussy little eaters.
We travelled around by taxis, I recommend booking them 24h+ in advance if you can.

Quiet small place, especially suitable for families. Taverna Vassilis is the place to eat with good food and very good service. Nektar juice bar is a nice place to have a couple of drinks just seating outside and watching the inhabitants and tourists alike having their evening stroll.

Metamorfosi is a small village but has a character. Beaches are nothing special. Golden beach is clean, and small, with a shower and a beach bar. You have a natural shadow. The air is very pleasant because of the pines. I recommend Metamorfosi for families with small children because you have a nice park and playground for the kids. You have a couple of restaurants and coffee shops. A good starting point for visiting surrounding beautiful beaches.

Huge balcony, very nice spacious room, suberb cost/quality, nice big fridge in room. We also loved the town a lot, actually we almost fell in love with the town and the whole Chalkidiki. Forget Thessaloniki, stay your whole trip in here.
