On my arrival, I was advised to download the app to check myself into the hotel, which I found a little odd. On my holiday, I like to have little personal communication, which I found lacking. However, I soon realized that the app made the check-in process quick and efficient. Despite the lack of personal communication, I appreciated the convenience and ease of using technology during my stay.
The pool area is too small for a hotel of that size, and there are no pool chairs available.

The hotel was fabulous. It's a lovely seaside location with nice balcony rooms, with a great roof top terrace for breakfast. Staff were very friendly. There's lots and lots of bars and restaurants nearby.

Unfortunately the room did not meet our expectations we booked a suite which felt quite small a little dark and the bedroom was small. Limited storage no drawers and out balcony was shared access for another room. When I'm paying for the best room I expect a private balcony. As a minimum I have stayed elsewhere in the resort paid less and had 2 balconies. Breakfast was good and varied and cooked to order. All in all the staff made it but it was just a little to small for us.

Hersonisos had just about everything. A short distance from the nearest airport, services for tourists, a short distance to the mountains and to the local culture. Among the local restaurants, I remembered the atmospheric Rosmary the best, which is located in a small alley between the streets Olos Palme and Agias Paraskevis. For those who are thirsty or without a disco, there is a great one-kilometer-long scenic route from the beach boulevard Kassavetis Center to the Limenas Hersonissou lighthouse.

The only issues we had was the door lock to our room needs to be changed it was a five min ordeal every time we wanted in to the room .
The housekeeping is ok but they often forgot to restock the coffee and minibar and a cpl times towels

April is windy, but pleasant sunshine, no rain at all. The roads have no pavements so be careful, but there is a little train doing a circuit around with a get-on, get off system, which is good. Shops are incredibly reasonable and include some beautifully made table linens, clothes, towels, olive wood products and hand made gifts.

Very pretty small town on the seaside with easy access from shopping streets to its beach. You can find lots of cafes along the beach and it's a free access. The cafes' staff is friendly and helps you even if you do not buy there anything. The souvenirs are cheaper than in Heraklion, i.e. fridge magnets started from EUR1. Whereas in Heraklion it starts from EUR1.5-2, and all clothing and shoes as well. It also has Leather Jackets shops and even Fur & Real Leather Factory Shops, but not on the main street, or Market in Heraklion. The sellers are friendly and happy to bargain.
Good choice of anthric style ceramic vases and crockery for reasonable price. Dresses more expensive than in England.

Great for pubs and bars with people shouting at you that they have a table for you - all good humoured but after a while it got a bit irritating. Is not recommend it if you are looking for a traditional Greek holiday spot - could have been anywhere! Totally recommend if you like bars, clubs and sports on the TV.
Breakfast was great and simple with many different options to choose from, perfect to start you off for the day. The location was even better, nice and quiet and only 20 mins from Heraklion airport. Lovely places nearby like milatos beach, sarandari and the old town. Debbie and janis went above and beyond us to help us enjoy our stay, whether that is staying late for us to check in or giving us endless recommendations for places to go to nearby. We can't thank them enough. The place was immaculate and all the staff were so lovely to us.
Very, very nice family hotel, very well maintained garden, pool. We had a great welcome. The room was clean, bright and airy. Chirping birds and olive trees around. Lovely view to the sea. Two terraces. Breakfast-very good. Beach - 5 min. by foot. Staff-very kind. Location is very good if you have a car to explore the Eastern part of Crete. Not sure how is the public transport to reach it.
I liked the bookshelves with holiday books in English and German and may be some other languages that you can borrow while there.
The location is PERFECT. The views are amazing. Worth 5 stars. Definetely recomend. The beach is very close. The place is at the port (marine). If you want to go to Crete, you HAVE to choose Aqua Vero. It's better than in the pictures. The host was great, very welcomy. He was always ready to help. There's everything you might need. I loved the local shampoo. The car parking is also very close. There's also protection from the moskitos at every window and doors. We visited in the begining of may.
The location is perfect. A small authentic village in 5 min. walk. The accomodation is brilliant. Our houseman is fantastic. The coctails brilliant at the bar. Breakfast is delicious. Everithing is clean, we felt like in a 5 star hotel. The pool is the best I ever seen. Confortable seats, U alwasy find shadow or sunny pleace. Crete is só beautifull and the Mítos village is the best of all. Thank you for our vacation!
Perfect all inclusive for our family. Loved so much never left the resort. Great for families with kids of all ages. Food options were great along with staff. Great family get away on Crete. Rooms were spacious enough and facilities were very modern. Pool is saltwater, but waterpark pools are not. Would definitely recommend.

I made this reservation for my clients and because Sergios hotel still wasn't opened, they stayed at Central Hersonissos hotel and they were very pleased with amenities and stuff. They told me all the best about the hotel, new rooms, clean towels, good breakfast and etc.

Breakfast and dinner are amazing, esp. for dinner which is changing every day during the stay. Staff are very nice and friendly, showing that they really take care of the guests. Location is excellent, near the see and town center. Could only recommend the hotel, and would like to come back in the future!
The spacious and modern equipped house is on a hill in a village from where you have a great view to the sea. To get around you need a car. In walking distance are several restaurants with delicious Greek cusine and markets. This place is very recommended. The owners showed the typical Crete hospitality.

Beach is amazing, the hotel is awesome especially for kids, although adults have fun too. If you do All inclusive the food is not the greatest, they have a lot of options though. But there are other restaurants within the hotel that have good food.
This hotel was one of the highlights of our trip to Crete. Amazing location, views , facilities, service and food. Leagues above and beyond anything else we saw in the city. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended....
First - the hotel is in 1 minutes near the beach. :) It is a lovely taverna nearby! The room was very comfortable. The cleaning was also very careful and nice! At the reception we received information we needed! It was great.
