A good place to stop-off on our travels up the island! Very good value for money and good basic amenities. The room was large with ensuite bathroom, simple cooking facilities, fridge, dining table, strong WiFi ☺️ despite not seeing staff during our stay, we received good communication before our arrival. The pool was not in use as we were out of season, but that waa fine with us 😊

It is a pleasant resort for a stay at the sea. The marina is a pleasant place to walk and visit. There are many terraces/restaurants/taverns for dining. The nearby Galida beach is very long, with calm, clear water, with few stones. There are parking lots right next to the beach, under the shade of the pine trees. There is a tavern on the beach. Winds are specific in the area, but despite all that, the sea has no waves, it is good for swimming.
There are not many places to buy souvenirs in the city.
We ate at the Cavo D'Oro tavern and Fingerfood, and we recommend.

Karistos is a small coastal town that mostly serves holiday...
Karistos is a small coastal town that mostly serves holiday makers from Athens. There are some fantastic restaurants which you will only find if you look carefully on Google! The same goes for stunning beaches - we found them only through searching on Google-earth, renting a car and going in search of them! You will enjoy the interesting culture and history - it is worth the short trip up the very windy mountain/hill-side to mooch around the ruins of the old castle and the stunning views from the top. There is plenty to see and explore and renting your own car is highly recommended (the rental place called *Karistos Marine* - located very close to the Anastasia hotel was absolutely brilliant - so helpful, extremely reasonable and offered a great car which we took all over Evia.

This is a beautiful villa, the nicest place we found in Karystos and perfect location about a 15 minute walk from town with great views. It’s light and airy and was very pleasant to retreat from the heat of the day. It’s very well equipped and very comfortable.
Vangelis was very kind and helpful and he and his wife Brigitte made sure we had everything we needed.
I will definitely recommend this lovely Villa. A big 10/10

Quiet, relaxing neighborhood. Traditional Greek environment. Outside the city, but easily accessible by car. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms. Mosquito nets on the windows, terrace door. On the terrace was very comfortable furniture and a nice view of the sea. When the usual wind in the south of Evia started blowing, it was protected from the wind.
Excellent location and scenery, breakfast is rich and delicious and it also offers lunch and dinner options. We had dinner when we arrived and food was very good. Staff is super kind. It is walking distance to the restaurants of Karystos while at the same time being at a quiet spot just outside the center. Very good value for money.
One of the best accommodations in Karystos!! Very beautiful, clear and convenient!! The location is perfect very central!! It was fully equipped with anything we needed! Totally recommend it!!
