This is a very cute guesthouse in the small and sleepy village of Dilofo. The guesthouse is a two hundred metre uphill walk from the ample car park (so bring light luggage!)
Elsa is a welcoming host. The rooms we had had were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The rooms had windows that opened (with fly wire screens) and that provided beautiful views over the village and mountains beyond. The rooms also had air conditioning for when it got too hot. Elsa’s breakfast was delicious and excellent value for money. There was a downstairs lounge area which looked welcoming, but our long days exploring beautiful Zagori meant we didn’t use it. I imagine the guest house would be very snug in the colder months.
Situated in the scenic village of Monodendri 600 metres from Vikos Gorge, the stone-built Hotel Ladias serves a traditional breakfast buffet with homemade pies and local honey and yogurt.

Great hotel in beautiful Monodendri. Very nice and big room. Breakfast is an excellent meal and varied. The family that runs the hotel is wonderful. They are very helpful and give good advice for visiting the countryside and canyons. A parking space is provided in front of the hotel. The warm welcome pie is a special treat, as are the hosts and their advice. The hotel is highly recommended. We will be happy to return.

Delicious breakfast, amazing hospitality and warm feeling. The view is also great.
Lovely peace and tranquility and lovely old houses.
Lovely peace and tranquility and lovely old houses. No cars and limited facilities in the village. Tumbledown look adds to the atmosphere of the village which has great views over the surrounding hills and valleys, but cobblestone streets can make access difficult for those with mobility issues. One of the most unspoiled and atmospheric villages in the Zagorohoria.

This is a historic, partially abandoned (I think) village in the northern Greek mountains. It would be a great place to go to relax and maybe explore the town and read a book. The manager of the hotel was more than helpful and kind. In the area, you can get a guide to walk between the villages on the cobblestone paths.
Calm, quiet, peaceful location - except for dogs barking at night - bring ear plugs! Only one restaurant open at this time - Lithos - and it was delicious. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was expansive and delicious. Homemade liquor in the room was an unexpected treat. Owner and staff were top notch friendly. Views were beautiful. Hikes immediately accessible from hotel. Can't recommend the location of Dilofo and this hotel specifically highly enough if you're looking for quiet, calm, outdoorsy, gorgeous, delicious bliss.
Marios, the host, was exceptionally helpful and worked hard to make sure all of our wishes became true. The daily breakfast was homemade, rich in variety, enough to feed twice as many people, and served with passion.
The room was spacious and beautifully decorated and the beds very comfortable. The hotel itself has a great atmosphere and was perfectly located for our daily tours around Pindos.
In conclusion: Great host, great place, great value for the money.
What a wonderful place to stay! The staff were so kind and helpful, happy to give us any information we needed about the region. The rooms are beautiful, cozy and clean. Breakfast was tasty and varied. The property is in the middle of the beautiful town of Dilofo, couldn't be better in terms of location. I would highly recommend staying here when visiting this region, it's genuinely outstanding, especially for the price. Thank you again to all the lovely staff.
We came late in the evening and Elsa was so kind and helping! She took care of our every need including going to a nearby restaurant to make sure they can serve us and she set up a table for us in the hotel for the takeaway.
The room was sparkling clean and inviting. The room has very special design as it built from stones, yet all the facilities are new.
We couldn't ask more for our last night in Greece (and each night we slept somewhere else).
Outstanding property and wonderful warm hospitality from Jorgos and Dimitra. Everything was just perfect. Thank you so much. The breakfast was superb, so too the accommodation. Really appreciated the advise and local information of places to visit. This is a gem of a property hosted by wonderful people, and which we can highly recommend.
PS. Would also recommend the restaurant Lithos" Takis place at Dilofo for its excellent food
This was our second stay and we were so happy to be returning. The hotel is in a great location and of a very high standard. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. Constantina (the lovely hotel owner) was delightful - super friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is wonderful, so many options and the apple cake was such a treat. We very much hope to visit again.
The gorgeous little village of Dilofo is the perfect location for day trips & walks around the Zagori region. It’s was spotlessly clean & incredibly comfortable. Elsa the host went above and beyond to make us feel at home. She even packed us a lunch to take away with us on check out. We will remember our stay with much fondness - thank you Elsa
We enjoyed our stay at Dilofo a lot! The rooms are comfortable and have been cleaned every day. The bathroom is superb. The breakfast is very tasty and we enjoyed the different pies!
Best of all was our host Konstantina, who was extremely welcoming and gave us very good recommendations about things to see in the surroundings. We hope to come back!
This little pearl in the remote village of Dilofo hits my Top-3 list of valuable places to stay.
The reason? The generous host, the beautiful restored little guesthouse, the room with a real good bed and the overwhelming home made breakfast!
This place made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommended if you visit the Zagori area.
Dilofo hotel is located in the entrance of the village, so very easy to find. Constantina and her husband were so friendly which makes us feel at home.
Breakfast was rich and great.
The hotel and the room were super clean and cozy, so sorry we couldn't stay for more, but we would definitely come back!
Highly recommended!!
Beautifully restored property, lovely rooms, very clean and comfortable. Friendly owner and nice courtyard to have breakfast. Complimentary ouzo in each room was a great touch.
The (only) taverna in Dilofo is very good and cozy.
one of the best hotels in the area if you want a nice room, warm and really friendly staff. the breakfast is handmade and they even make you omelette with fresh eggs. they give you suggestions if you want to ask them anything.
The hotel is a beautifully restored mansion in a small village. The breakfast was nice and we could view a slide show of wonderful photos of the area. The host was so nice to talk with and gave us tips for where to hike.
