Gastronomy Hotel Kritsa, hotel in Agios Lavredios

Right on the central square of Portaria with its shading plane trees, lies the hotel and restaurant Kritsa. It offers romantic rooms, a rich traditional breakfast.

Hotel Kritsa and the gastronomy restaurant are a fantastic experience. First of all you have the lovely and wonderful staff. They are so friendly! They bring your suitcases to your room and they give you all the necessary information about Portaria, the shops … and everything you ask them. They are very helpful! The outside area of the hotel is like the garden of Eden with an 800 year old tree at the center and a well next to the tree . You don’t need to buy a bottle of water. They fill a carafe with fresh spring water. Lovely! Water can taste very good. The rooms are comfortable. Old style Pelion. I had a room with a balcony over looking the square with the old tree. Very recommendable! And then last but not least you have the breakfast. Only for the breakfast you stay in Kritsa. It’s of an unbelievable good quality with very good quality local products and products from their own farm. The restaurant is also a very good experience. Lovely food and a very good wine selection. The service is professional and very relaxed and friendly. I come back.

A very pleasant and lovely stay! Mrs. Lena & Mr. Dimitris, as well as their lovely staff, made us feel at home. They are the most perfect hosts! The breakfast was amazing! Everything was so neat, clean and tidy.

Agios Lavredios is a charming village with a plethora of dining and beverage options. The view is great, enhanced by the absence of cars in the village center. The trees in the central square offer ample shade, creating a perfect setting for leisurely and tranquil summer moments.

This is a very old and well preserved traditional village, entirely pedestrian. Just beware of wearing easy walking shoes. The shade of the tri-century plane trees on the squares of the village is exceptional. The small tavernas are very welcoming.
