The breakfast was a continental style. There was a good choice of items on offer. Also the pool being so close in the hot weather it was a bonus. The bar at the pool served good food so you didn't need to go to far.

The hotel has an amazing view. We had breakfast included on our stay there and it was tasty and the buffet had many options (fruits, pastries, coffee, milk, many different juices etc). Agia Galini is a pretty village with lots of little shops around to get nice souvenirs for friends and family. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and accommodating, especially Maria.

Great place we went out of season but there was still enough bars and tavernas open, but many more to open and they looked good also. We also had two dogs with us and we and them were welcome everywhere. Could not fault the friendly people and the hospitality we had at our hotel and bars and tavernas was first rate. We will definitely be going back.

Lovely fishermen’s town with great tavernas and bars/cafes.
Lovely fishermen’s town with great tavernas and bars/cafes. Chilled and relaxing atmosphere. Very nice beach, again with good tavernas serving delicious Greek and international food. Walking distance between town, beach and hotels. Hidden gem for me.

It is in strategic position, central to reach beautyful beaches on the east and on the west of the village within 30 min-1 hour by car. It is also a small pictoresque and typical greekvillage with a small harbour, full of shop, markets, restaurants and services, but very quiet as well

After coming from Paleochora, I’m afraid Agia Galini was a huge disappointment. It looks tired and run down and the beach is less than spectacular. The view of the water from any restaurant is marred by the rather grotesque breakwater. I would advise folks to stay in Spili. A much prettier town.

Ag. Galini is a beautiful small city, located on the hill.
Ag. Galini is a beautiful small city, located on the hill. Although is a touristic place its quite and peaceful. Everything is near and you don't need the car to move around. The beach is beautiful and the local shops have a great variety. The local cuisine is delicious and the people very friendly.
Astoria Hotel is like a "family run" hotel located in Agia Galini. It is located at the entrance to the city, from where you can easily reach the center of the town with restaurants, shops, coffee bars, etc. by foot.
You can go down to the sea in 10 minutes by foot. Few parking spaces available in front of the property.
Nice breakfast room and good choice for food. The lady at the reception was very kind and nice. Ready to help.
Our room on 2nd floor had a big terrace. Air conditioning available. Safety deposit box available
This is not just a hotel... This is the passion and love of Jasmin and her husband, who make you feel at home instantly.
Every morning you can enjoy a different, freshly made Greek breakfast. Made with only the best ingredients from their own garden and animals. Very clean rooms with airconditioning and a little fridge. Jasmin is very helpful in giving tips and advice in what to visit or where to eat (make sure to check out Charlie's Place).
I highly recommend Hotel Idi... we definitly will go back!
We had two Junior Suites with Balcony for our family of four adults. The view of the wonderful, huge pool and sea was sensational, and the hotel's taverna, right on the beach, was typically Greek, and served very good food with generous portions. The location is excellent, quietly situated at the end of the pretty village of Agia Galini, reached via a pretty walkway beside the sea that's lined with numerous tempting restaurants and shops and a supermarket. We all slowed down and relaxed.
The hospitality of the staff is some of the best I experienced in Greece. Aris who I think is the owner or manager goes out of his way every day to make guests feel comfortable in the hotel. He is a passionate person and makes amazing different breakfasts everyday which is a great way to start your day! There is a lot of love and passion in this hotel! Would stay again and again. It’s also so nice to see a hotel provide two pillows to sleep with and not just one.
Great buffet breakfast and comfortable room with terrace and a nice sea view. The gardens and pools were immaculate and diverse. Many guests stayed around the hotel pools and gardens as it was nicer than the nearby beaches. Really helpful and friendly staff and a very good experience.
The apartment is clean, in the center of the small town, comfortable beds, large room which are well air-conditioned. Close to the beach, all shops and restaurants are right next to the apartment. Great place for a family stay.
The apartment was not so big but with everything needed and very nice. We found raki, water and little presents at the arrival. Is very close to Agia Galini center and to the beaches. No hard to find a place where to park.
The hospitality of the owner is exceptional. This is a very nice little hotel nicely decorated and the room is spacious.
The breakfast is very good.
I really recommend staying there if you visit Agia Galini.
Room overlooked a cute courtyard. Service was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was tasty. The hotel is located a short walk from all the beaches
The hotel was nice and quiet with an authentic, family feel.
Christina and her husband Michael were fantastic! Christina had great restaurant recommendations too!
Avra was spotlessly clean and has been our favourite place to stay in Crete. Couldn't recommend more!
