Beautiful spot close to the river, with a nice garden and apple trees overlooking the valley and mountains. Friendly dog Balu loves to cuddle. The lady of the house was very welcoming and helpful. The food was hearty and tasty. She dried our shoes after we left them out in the rain accidentally. Lali is a great cook and we very much enjoyed her cheeky jokes (in Russian).

Both hosts were full of energy and very welcoming. The food was truly amazing, best one on the whole trek. That place was very nature loving. I wished I stayed longer and definitely will come back.

The guest house is perfectly located for a rest place after the first day of Mestia - Ushguli trek. The hosts are fantastic and just upon the arrival a full table of Georgian dishes was waiting. It really made the highlight of the day. The rooms have heaters and in the morning exceptional breakfast was provided as well.

very nice place to stay, with comfortable warm rooms, good beds. The location on the main road through Mestia is good for short walks to all the restaurants and shops in Mestia.

with the concrete road to Mestia in place (20 minutes of driving), there is no real need to stay in Zhabeshi any more if you have your own car: Mestia has much more guesthouses to choose from and offers shops, nice restaurants, ATM's, ... which you don't find in Zhabesi at all; only if you want to experience solitude, rural live and stay in a family guesthouse , you can still enjoy Zhabeshi
