I just loved with ❤️everything! It’s really nice family guest house with really nice family. To sister and their sweet mother running around all the time. They baking fresh bread every morning with homemade pancakes, yogurt and lots of homemade Georgians food for dinner. Location of house perfect, front you have Ushba mountain and back amazing flowers mountains. Back of house there is hiking road with good marked . They help with everything and smile all the time. They can help with transport also from Mestia.

The Grand Hotel Ushba is really beautiful situated in the Becho Vally and offers an ideal starting points for (day or longer) hikes in the area. As a matter of fact, we thought the views from the valley were some of the most stunning we saw during our overall 4 days in Svaneti. The host Richard is an expert on hiking and other outdoor activities in the area and he gave us some really good tips! He also lent us his book with hikes in Svaneti region that was very helpful. We had dinner twice which was not only tasty and exactly what we needed after a long day of hiking, but also in a very nice atmosphere, cozy and with a lot of attention to detail. Breakfast was also great (warm and filling, and also available at 7 am which allowed us to start our hike early). The rooms are clean and cozy, again nicely decorated with great attention to detail.

Postcard-perfect views of Peaks Mazeri and Ushba from bedroom window in a stunning, quiet valley. I highly recommend hopping off here en-route to Mestia for a couple of days or more for the amazing waterfall/glacier day hikes and/or intense relaxation in the valley. The tourist cafe with hammocks is a great place to chill or end a hike with a beer etc

Murman was full of stories about hikers difficulties over the year and was helpful in checking and advising on weather conditions.
