The Chateau is beautiful and secluded in a Vineyard in Shilda. The manager Alexei was very kind, attentive and keen to make out stay as nice as possible. Great food and wine and a lovely swimming pool made sure we enjoyed an ultimate relax time. They are building a billiard room and massage area so we will have to come back!

The location and views were fabulous, hotel was among lovely countryside and is fairly new. The pool was welcome with hot days. Staff were really friendly and room and bathroom size were generous. Easy to drive to nearby wineries and monasteries

We visited some of the local wineries: Khareba - nice place, well informed people, delicious wine, Graneli - if you like Las Vegas, you might like the place, their wine was not very good, Ikano - young people who try to mix old Georgian grapes with European sorts, e.g. Saperavi with Merlot, it was quite interesting and we bougth a few bottles.
We rented a car in Tbilisi so we didn´t have a problem with transportation and one of our group doesn´t drink wine so that was very convenient.
