I only stayed there for a couple hours to take a nap, but Svetlana was very kind and helpful to me. Her place is clean, the rooms are dark so good for sleeping, the bathrooms were working properly and the house is big. Great price for the room. Thank you!

Great apartment in the center of Gori, just few steps from the Stalin's museum or Gori Fortress. Exept for being in the center of the city, it has an inner yard where the noise of city is somehow cut down.
On average, it costs £33 per night to book a 3-star hotel in Gori for tonight. You'll pay on average around £40 if you choose to stay in a 4-star hotel tonight, while a 5-star hotel in Gori will cost around £89 (based on Booking.com prices).
Gori: A Day Trip from Tbilisi
Gori is a small and quiet town in central Georgia, with a population of around 50,000 people. It is best known as the birthplace of Joseph Stalin, and it is home to a number of Stalin-related museums and attractions.
Gori is a good enough place to visit for a day trip from Tbilisi, but there is not much to see or do otherwise. The main attractions in Gori are:
Stalin Museum: This museum is dedicated to the life and legacy of Joseph Stalin. It contains a large collection of artifacts, photographs, and documents related to him. The museum isn't well-organized and informative, and thus it is helpful to have a guide to explain the exhibits in more detail. There were photos of several men, but no real explanation as to who they were. We tried to find a guide who could explain things to us, but due to a language barrier, we failed at this. The ticket price is 15 GEL (6 USD) per person.
Gori Fortress: This medieval fortress is located on a hilltop overlooking the city. It offers underwhelming views of the surrounding countryside. The fortress is in ruins and didn't really feel like it was worth a climb.
Hero Memorial: It had cool giant sculptures but with no real explanation.
I also ate at Berkin Restaurant in Gori. The food was nice, but the prices were similar to Tbilisi, so it is not a budget-friendly option.
It's clear they are very new to tourists.
Overall, Gori is a worth a visit if you are interested in learning more about Joseph Stalin or Georgian history. However, there is not much else to see or do in the town, so it is best to visit as a day trip from Tbilisi.

I've been to Gori several times of the past years. The cutleti is awesome and the fortress is a fun place to explore. Aside from the infamous Stalin museum, there is a interesting ethnographic museum and the war museum.

One of the best restaurants in Georgia call Gori home, from the ruins, to the temple to the Castle, slowly walking through oldtown or visiting one of the most iconic museums in history you cant stop falling in love with Gori, the rich culture, history and friendly hosts this area has to offer is seldom found outside of major centres around the world, the city successfully hosts their offering to travelers and guests.

Lots to see but do not miss those slightly hiding circle of warriors - all cut up with missing limps and obviously representing soldiers that have been slain in battle. At the base of the castle and behind a church.

A small town with a big heart. Easy to get around..... full of locals who willingly help the lost tourist. Easy to get to Uplistsikhe via mashrutka. Just a lovely place, don't miss it. We stayed for three days but could have stayed for forever!

A very interested area to visit, old history - one need to read a bid more before visiting the city of Gori
Lots of places to visit
If your accommodation is in the center you do not need to have transport, all is within walking distance
Local food is recommended
The room was comfortable and clean. Staff was super kind and very helpful (they arranged a very convenient collective taxi to Tbilisi for us with a pick up directly from the hotel). The food of the restaurant was one of the best culinary experience we had in Georgia. It is a 20 minutes walk from the Stalin museum but taxi is very cheap. We highly recommend this guest house.
The host was super nice and made a great Georgian wine tasting with homemade products. The place is clean and it's great value for money. You need a car to get there from Gori, but it's right on the wine route. Would stay here again.
The owner was so welcoming & friendly ! Exceptional cleanliness everywhere. All the hotel is new, kitchen is well equipped and the terrasse is very cosy. The hidden gem of Gori! Will come back again.
Staying here was a true pleasure. Nitsa is an incredible host, and such a lovely person, who makes you feel at home right away. Without a doubt, I would stay here again when in Gori.
Right in the centre of Gori, close proximity to landmarks. Affordable. The hotel cafe serves delicious fare with decent portion size - absolutely love the Gori cutlet dish.
